I am glad men don't go pantless in public in the US.
pincheck replied to jumpchikk's topic in The Bonfire
Yet they do in Scotland. sheep can hear a zipper a mile away. also sorts out that hanging left or right as you only hang straight down except when a hottie walks past then you have a little tent in front Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun -
If you do Aff training abroad you will need your log book signed by a BPA instuctor to make it easier for you to intergrate onto a uk dropzone. AS you have said weather abroad makes progression so much easier to do. Do a search of the forums to get a idea where new people go to train and learn

Jumpmaster/helicopter question
pincheck replied to pincheck's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
This is something i thought of after watching a helicopter jump on skydivemovies.com. Normally on a jump run you have horizontal speed to assist in separation of groups exiting is there enough forward speed in a chopper or does it just hover taking longer to dispatch each group ?. Due to exiting time for each group to open and move off, cheers -

yes he did have a smirking face I took it as a joke perhaps not a very good one but hey are we all that perfect we don't make mistakes. I just can't believe how long this thread has been festering for as its just not very productive. peace Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

can you try and explain what that change was. As i am from the Uk so Iam not very familiar with the USPA marketing poilcies. To be honest i can't see this ever being a mainstream sport and student/jumper retention is a bit of a bug bear with me. Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

bring your thermals (for the summer) think Strathallen would be closest coming down A9 but its a bitch of a road to travel. Only C206 and and C185 (st Andrews) would say either dropzone would be happy to see you. Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

I think kelpdiver has a point here we all try to stike a balance in life. Some people prefer to go home spend time with their family, fair enough thats their choice me. i hang around now but used to go home rather than stay overnight. You can have interests outside skydiving "dont beat me up about this ". We all make our own choices base on individual events in our lives " dabble " was probably the wrong word to use perhaps "particapate" would have been better , as we all particapate in the sport.
