I only live about 15mins away but its something i haven't been to for a long time but will be making a few more trips this summer, as i plan to restart hillwalking and trecking. linlithgow palace is only 10mins away stirling castle is 25 mins away and edinburgh is full of historical sites if you take the time to look

I just wish i could have taken pics of the inside of the memorial but didn't think it was appropriate to the people who where viewing the books of the fallen you would really have to have visited it to understand. It took about 4 and a half hours to go round the castle and that was with the Royal apartments being closed it was very busy that day due to it being national heritage day with free entry to all their sites over the weekend

May be best to also mention any licence restrictions, rather than have a disappointed jumper turned away

I've got to confess that this actually never occurred to me until i started reading about some of the other threads on this site about it I just think it is extremely stupid and irresponsable even though i think that the USPA repack cycle is to short with the 6 months repack cycle a better option.
