    This is where i hit the stumbling block Ron who makes that call at the dz the dzo or s&ta ??. What do we do start asking jumpers for medical records when they turn up at dz where they are unkn own. how do you differentiate between just having a bad day and being depressed. The other thing is we tend to go on trust more than anything else. these people do not walk about with signs saying "Im about to Kill myself" infact i would say they would tend to be more devious by nature. As happythoughts already said they can be very ordinary to look at and talk to. I honestly don't know the Answer here people its something that may not have a straight forward solution to.     There is not much you can do to prevent this kind of thing if the person doesn't show any outward sign of instability. If they do its up to the instructor to inform the dz owner who then can decide what they want to do. The very nature of this kind of thing is not advertised by the people who do it and usually will come out of the blue. The person i feel for the most isn't the person who committed suicide, its the poor bloody instructor who dispatched and had to watch this happen. Think how upsetting it would be for them.     My asthma started in child hood at about 6 disappeared and reoccured at about 33-34 when i was told it was stress due to problems with my boys health i had something like 20 odd years between my childhood attacks and adult ones where i required to use inhalers as well as occational steroid tables or nebuliser. i haven't had a attack in over 2 years and am off all medication maybe giving up smoking had something to do with it and being more relaxed with my kids health. wouldn't hurt yto get checked dude. could be middleage spread though hippie Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun
