Thanks it is a great place to visit, its about a 2 hour drive into the area but well worth it. further north there are even more spectacular places to visit

Had a great day yesterday Me and friend left at 4am to get to the base of the walk By 6am so arriving in the Ski centre car park at Aviemore our hearts dropped after. I had checked 3 different weather sites that morning for latest regional info which had all came back good for walking. The place was like the last time we where here visibility was 100metres at best. We had our maps and compass so getting lost wasn't going to be a problem. we set off the first part was easy as its a walk up the paths used to service the ski slopes where you then branch off the choire chais up following the staircase to the top of Coire An t-sneachda. here we broke out the cameras as Joy of joy the low cloud had sank below us @ about the 2000ft mark

cairngorms are in Scotland kinda north central mouintain ranges really nice place to loose yourself and get away from it all as well as a very dangerous place for the unprepared and boy does it look like shaping up to be a cracking day Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

where i stay, further up north and in particular its the highlands and islands that have seen this. Its happening mostly with heating oil for the houses, where the owners only find out they have been hit when the oil runs out prematurely. Leaving they fecked unless they can get a quick delivery.
