  1. It depends on what it is and how far out of date. Milk, if its a day over I won't drink it. But something like vegemite or peanut butter I am not so concerned about if its a little out of date, plenty of preservatives. Honey is the only natural food that doesn't go off!
  2. Statistically women are more likely to kill their husbands in the kitchen.. plenty of boiling water and knives on hand I guess.
  3. Well a sign I got last night was "My parents are away, do you want to come over and keep me company, you can stay the night..." I think that was a pretty clear sign But some of the more subtle ones are harder to pick when they are towards you. Like often you can tell when someone likes someone else, but it can be harder when they "signs" are towards you. I guess its always easier when you are looking on from the outside.
  4. Cheers to bob.dino for coming on a 3way with myself and another low timer on Saturday, it was great fun. Not sure if I will be up this weekend, but if my jumpsuit arrives I'll come up on Sunday if you are still available.
  5. I always suggest people that say they want to "Give it a go" to do a tandem. The early AFF jumps you are so nervous and have so much to do, but a tandem is just a fun ride.
  6. I guess they are looking for that niche market
  7. Don't most religions say if you don't believe their ways you are going to hell? So I guess we are all screwed...
  8. I grew a goatie for a little while. When I had it no one ever carded me... so give that a try...
  9. Good to hear. Get back up as soon as you can!
  10. I don't think any religion is inherently dangerous, its just how people choose to express themselves that causes bloodshed.
  11. I've heard on these forums that the Z1's are sized smaller than other helmets. ie a medium is tighter than a medium in othersizes. There have been a few people that have had troubles with the Z1 being too small and have gone to boneheads.
  12. Make sure to give the bourbon to the rigger AFTER he repacks the reserve, or the next pack might night be so good....
  13. I looked around at a lot of different helmets before deciding. I had heard a lot of people recommending the hookr's and in the end thats the way I decided to go. I wanted something light and comfortable that I can add a camera to later. The hookr's carbon fibre shell and soft inside padding makes it very light and comfortable and also a lot quieter, I have no problems hearing my dytter. Also great customer service, they kept me up to date with what was happening with my helmet. Most people get the clear coat carbon fibre look but I got mine painted black, looks great and is different from all the other hookrs at my DZ.
  14. I don't know about the US, but in Australia you have to have a Packer B rating to pack student rigs.
  15. Do you mean have sex on the plane.. on the ride to height?
  16. At the recent Easter boogie I completed my last conversion jump (from student gear to my own rig) on the first load. Very quickly 3 guys offered to take me up to do a few 4 ways. It was a lot of fun, the guys were a lot bigger than me so I had to ARCH very hard, damn my back as sore. It was a lot of fun though.
  17. A jumper I know got prescription inserts for his goggles from an optometrist. Fergs can shed more light onto this if he sees this post.
  18. It'll be cool to see what they get up to in these.
  19. I haven't started FF yet, but my Voodoo will do nicely when I do
  20. Neat, Single, Early 30's...... But seriously, gay during that time had a different meaning. Alexander the Great, Julius Caeser and many others also "bonded" with their companions. The Spartan army encouraged sex between soldiers to promote mateship.
  21. I was thinking of getting NO ENTRY
  22. There is a used section on www.totalcontrol.com.au and www.apf.asn.au You could also try sending an email out on the skarsy yahoo group.
  23. At my DZ you can't have a full face until you have a C licence. Its not just because it limits your vision, but it also removes your sense of touch of wind against your face and dampens the hearing.
