    That is the worst thing you could possibly do. How painful as she wonders wth is going on. Trust me, talk to her and end it if that's what you want. The fade away approach is for a coward and shows no respect for any connection you might have had. If you end it she will move on more quickly and have no hard feelings. If you let it go on without explanation she will hate you and be bitter and with good reason. Faders suck. If you end it clean then you can stay friends at least. Besides, what if you like her again someday? She might consider you again if you play fair now.

    I remember being stuck on the side of the road with car trouble and no phone service in the middle of nowhere in Pa in the woods at Christmas. A really nice older man helped me out and really went out of his way for me. He wouldn't accept money so when leaving I leaned in to kiss him on the cheek and he blushed and stuttered and grinned. It was very cute. He was like, "Wait until I tell the wife!!"
