I went to my very first rock concert this past summer, so age 24. My jumping buddy is a lighting designer for tours and goes on tour with different bands like Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson. So I went to the Counting Crows and Goo Goo Dolls concert in the summer and got to watch most of the show from the side of the stage. It was a pretty cool experience. Umm yes, that flare was bad. I made the mistake of not fully concentrating 100% on my landing. I had two people videotaping my landing and I was thinking about that and flared a little late. I got to learn a good lesson without getting hurt! ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM

My girlfriend started up a website called SKYDIVERGIRLS.com. Her idea was to feature women in the sport and show the general public that there are a TON of girls skydiving that are fun, smart, good looking etc. She did her first episode on me. I had a great time doing it and it was my first time going HEAD DOWN . So check out my video, I am so proud and excited to be a part of it! Mark, it was incredible to meet you. I think the conversation I had with you on Friday night was the most unique one I've ever had. I didn't realize you were jumping Sheri's gear on that load we were on together, she's really great about helping people out. Congratulations on being a part of the record this week-end. What an amazing week-end, even for me b/c I've NEVER seen that many people at my DZ. I met some incredible people and had a blast. Hopefully I can come out your way sometime and do a jump with you. I hope your allergies have calmed down a bit!

Cheri (sp?) had hundreds of packjobs and rigging on the go as well as a few reserves. BTW that MASSIVE swoop pond is going to be killer when it is done! It's Sheri, and her, Rick, Kyle, Kyla, and Dent all kicked ass packing this week-end. I think Rick did about 180 pack jobs over the week-end. The swoop pond will be amazing when it's done. Ok, I don't know how it works in the US. But in Canada, you can jump tandem or by yourself the first time. I did tandem, the first three. I wouldn't have had it any other way. There is something about being in freefall your first time with someone who has done it thousands of times that does wonders. I've seen a lot of shows and Cirque du Soleil is my absolute favorite. I've seen Allegria, Quidam, and Corteo. Paid through the ass for tickets for two of them. I have never seen any show that I love more than Cirque du Soleil. I went to Australia last summer and my sister surprised me with Quidam tickets, needless to say, it was the best vacation ever. It's probably the only show I'll pay a million dollars per ticket. edited to add: I have Varekai and Dralion on DVD. I just LOVE it!!! ...the door was open SKYDIVERGIRLS.COM

I'm so proud that I didn't spend a dime on credit to get licensed. That said... I would've gone into credit to get my license if I hadn't of had the money. I get shit all the time from certain people close to me for the money I use for jumping, but it's the best money I've ever spent!
