  1. i hate the thought of a horseshoe. even moving around in the plane, i'm always sooooo worried i'm going to make an awkward move or do something to cause one-- it freaks me out!! but i voted for a 2 out. a downplane specifically. that is my worst nightmare! i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
  2. ...and i was just trying to be nice! i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

  5. see what i meant about the difference between tandems and aff? yes, listen to instructors... but ask them about tunnel time as well (mine never mentioned it until i asked...) yeah, yeah it's pricey but sooo worth it when you think about actual ff time. the time you spend in there might save you a few repeats. you're lucky you have a skyventure in your state. not to mention, there are like 5+ drop zones in your area open 7 days a week! i'm jealous.......go have fun
  6. because it is the name that matters most! hehe i'm only kidding. eh, as a marketing major, no need to defend the concept... i understand! how have you been jeffrey?? p.s. check out my profile... the gear ...... i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
  7. multimap.com looks cool! it doesn't look like it's ready for the states yet tho. it's way better than globexplorer.com, which is what i used to get an ariel of my dz. multimap looks more detailed/better quality.. plus your zoom is better. globexplorer puts a giant watermark over their maps if your not a subscriber (see attached) but it lets search lat/long cords as well as addresses. ::shrug:: i'll have to remember that link in case they expand to the states- thanks! i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

  11. i wouldn't be comfortable if the canopy i owned did that on every opening (once i dooooo own one!) i read somewhere on here the fabric does make a difference and asked my instructor, and he confirmed it. but i wonder about wing loading... i'll have to remember to ask! i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

  14. here's a shocker (and a tip that might actually help you wd): it's not all about looks & sex. maybe he's just a fun guy with a great personality? i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
  15. i just looked up the stiletto, and as far as i can tell this is not a hybrid, correct? is this the canopy you're still jumping? the reason i ask is because i also have this problem (student canopy-skymaster). mine is a zp/f111 hybrid and from what i gather off here, that's why mine does that. it fixes itself as soon as i do my control check, but might be something to consider. for clarification, i am still on a student canopy, just curious if maybe that is why... question: would a lower WL cause this? or is it more likely the fabric or something else is the cause? i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

  19. he is sooooooo right. after getting my arch down, my leg was slightly dipping-- that threw me off. my arms weren't symmetrycal-- and that threw me too! ughhh! to answer the question: if money weren't an issue, i would have done aff in perris... they had great weather everyday (while i was there), tunnel if you need it (which i do!!), and harnesses for smaller bodies (another perk that smaller drop zones lack). perris rigs made it easier to arch (i'm 5'4/100-- they sat higher on my back)... i'm sure eloy can offer the same. however, i am glad i'm getting my training at my home dz though. i'm learning like everyone else there did at one point while getting to know my people
  20. yeah, that was the idea! ummm yes? ok, no. don't you wanna know who Guest 62 and Guest 14 are? i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce
