there was an incident a few months ago because they just pulled silver... deploying both at once, causing a really messy entanglement. incident thread here... at first, i was taught with any total mal- just pull silver. then i went to another dropzone or two and they taught it different (red first, then silver). the second one makes more sense to me... i would cutaway first if ever faced with this. i pull pretty high and would have that extra two seconds before reaching my hard deck. good question though... it will be interesting to see what everyone's response will be. but from what i understand, there's not a set in stone correct answer to this one. i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

ohhhhhhhwwwwwuh...... don't you hate that?! that happened to me last weekend. i still get it all the time. i like spur of the moment jumps best (leaving work, pretty weekends (when you thought it would be ugly), etc)... then you don't have to think about it the night before i'll probably bump this thread tomorrow. look at my weather for sunday!!!!!!! i couldn't dream up more perfect weather have fun tomorrow!!!! -

skydivingnurse, wow! i love the wind in my face.. you're missing the best part!!! i know, i know.. we're all different. =) i agree with ya though- as soon as i get my license and gear, the crazy part will be over and the fun will begin!!! ok, ok.. i'm already having a ton of fun! but you know what i mean hey mar! i wonder how they find this place. i didn't even know about this website until my second tandem. initially, i was just saving up for a tandem just to see what skydiving was like. we landed and i paid for the second step (another tandem) that same day. landed.... wanted to go again... signed up for the course that week!

hey jeth... i know exactly what you mean! winds and cloud deck can ruin a jump day this is my favorite place to check weather: http://usairnet.com/cgi-bin/launch/code.cgi?sta=KHOU&model=avn&state=TX&Submit=Get+Forecast it gives wind speed/direction, cloud levels (and density i think...) anyway, it's a lot better than weather.com in my opinion. i like your page too! i have one on here too but i don't have gear/suit/etc... just vids (and i didn't even put all of them up!)

I can't stand big bushy eyebrows.
