Luv it!!!

Ok, so Morgan and I are finally going to get married and have decided to be cheesy and do it at the DZ on September 2nd in Lodi. Bill is going to allow us to make a sunset load (6:30 Pm) with most of the service on the ground near the plane prior (for our non-jumping friends). We already have a skydiver to marry us and a videoflyer set up. I'll be wearing a tux with my rig and Morgan is going to find something short and sassy to wear. However, we are unsure on exactly how we want to do the service and are open to suggestions. We have reviewed the archives and videos and have seen some great ideas. Just not sure on when or how we should do the ring exchange or if we should wait til we get back on the ground to complete the ceremony. If you have any ideas, please let us know. Thanks....Mike. Also, everyone is welcomed to come jump with us and help celebrate afterwards with lots of liquid refreshments --- even though I'll have to keep morgan drunk in order to get her to go through with it...Hope to see you there.

FYI, the poor packing was mine and not the riggers...

My girlfriend jinxed me by talking about having a cutaway after I just paid for a repack. That plus tension knots from poor packing and blam..The funny part was this was our first jump since her cutaway the week prior (what are those odds??).

Girlfriend and I both use the Protec Snowboard helmets. No problems at all....

weather didn't allow it....but we will never forget it.

Girlfriend and I made a road trip to Olympia Washington and had to make a jump. We went to Kapowsin Air, currently located at the nearby Pierce County Airport, and were simply overwhelmed with the view. While we are still new the sport, it was the best view we have ever seen. The super otter was extremly fast, the air was crisp, Mt Ranier was still covered in snow, and the people were great. Talk about reasons to be in this sport. We were just about breathless for the remainder of the evening. Just had to share this most excellent day. If you get the chance, you must make the trip. Thanks Jessie -- you were great!!!

Girlfriend recently had a cut-a-way and it got us thinking. How long does it take a rigger to repack a reserve? We know there is a precise way of packing it, but in terms of time, how long? I have searched the forums and did not find the info. We both only have one rig so far and her cut-a-way ended the day. Just curious for when we take a week off for jumping and have something happen. In the recent case, we just left the rig as we are tied up for two weeks.
