  1. My wife is a whuffo but she loves the sport so much that she goes out to the DZ with me and hangs out. She has no desirer to jump but loves to take pictures of everybody and their landings so much so that they made her an honorary jumper and the official ground photographer. Would I date a Whuffo yes you might get lucky and meet one that turns out as great as mine. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

  3. After 19 years of marriage just paid off our last credit card debt so the only thing left is my mortgage! Credit cards make things to easy to get and not think about them until the bills start coming in, then watch out for the outragous interest rates. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB
  4. I am very new to the sport and have alot of things to learn. I always looked for and read your post because you are truly someone with great knowledge and deserving of nothing but respect and honor. 5. Skydive Wayne County in Richmond Indiana has one and as a student I have jumped from it many times. With larger loads it can be alittle snug but with close friends it's not bad and the ride to altitude is fairly quick. the ride is any where between 15 to 20 min. to 13,500. 9. I know Stratostar gravity does seem to have a rather strange effect on me. I think maybe if I cut both legs and maybe and arm Floats18 might be able to keep up with me!! LOL STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

  11. I was hanging around the hanger after doing 2 of my jumps to get my a license and heard a guy ask my instructor what do you do when you jump out of the plane and hit a cloud, and my instructor with a straight face said to him we just run as fast as we can and jump off the other side and the guy said oh I guess that makes sense and walked away. I was just standing there with total amazement that they could believe such an answer. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

  13. one of the best ways you can learn more about skydiving until you are 18 is go hang around the dropzone where you would be training and talk to skydivers, maybe even learn to pack, it's a great way to learn and even make some money to put towards your training. I think you will find that if you talk to skydivers and show a genunie interest in learning they will be very happy to help you out and get started when the time comes. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! 15. I got my name after I was finished with one of my A license progression jumps and everyone was hanging around outside the hanger shooting the breeze, they asked my instructor how it went and he said dam he's fast, and they started calling me Sky Bomb and it stuck. Everybody wanted to jump with me after I got my license but unfortunetly I got it to late in the year and they all either went south for the winter or hybernated. Can't wait for warmer weather. I got it!!!

I got my A license on the day of the Halloween party so I brought 4 cases and by the end of the night the cooler was empty and my new found family was very content and feeling no pain. I came from a large family but now my family has become huge and they are my skydiving family. Looking forward to seeing everyone threw out my skydiving adventures. Blue Skys and Safe Landings!! I got it!!!

I made my last jump for my A license this morning and it was incredible! I want to thank Everybody a Skydive Wayne County for helping me and showing me the exciting world of skydiving. The weather around here is not all great anymore but I can't wait to get out there and start on my way to learning how to become a better skydiver. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB

  19. Saturday I went to the drop zone to try and finish up my last 2 jumps up to get my A License, when I got there I was on the second load and went up and made my Dive and dock with no problems. When I was on the ground packing the clouds moved in and kept us on the ground for most of the day. Towards the end of the day my friend and instructor came in and said there was a hole coming to get suited up, we did and away we went, long ride up to altitude in the 182 but once we got there we opened the door and couldn't see the ground, we circled for awhile but no dice. Know I have to wait until next Saturday. Man I can't think of anything else at work, it's going to be one long week!!!!!!! STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB
  20. Hey everybody I just started jumping last year and am trying to find enough time to finish my a license this year 3 more jumps to go, my weight is 275 and my exit weight is around 315. I jump a MC-5 modified with boc and cypress. They put a pro track on me and my average on my belly was around 159mph. They gave me a new nick name around the DZ, they call me Sky Bomb!! 21. I had a jump about 4 months ago and had a hard landing after flareing to late and hit hard on my tail bone, it still bothers me today depending on how I sit and wether it is a hard chair or not. I have talked to others around the dropzone that had simular landings before when they were jumping for the first time and some of them said they still have problems with theirs, so all I can say is that it could be a very long time before you can sit straight without discomfort. 22. Hey my first two jumps were what they call here as a IAD were the instructor is holding the pilot chute like a static line and they were great. They switched to static line deployment after an incident with a student almost getting tangled with the bridal and my next three exits had lots of line twists but plenty of time to clear them. I have two coach jumps left to get my A license, My frst clear and pull was nerve racking and when I threw the pilot chute I forgot to move my other arm and I felt the pilot chute and risers go out across my legs I new I was in for a rough opening. My biggest problem that my instructor said I had was not trusting my arch, beleive me trust it and you will fall stable. Have fun and relax, I know your jumping out of an airplane how can you relax, beleive me you know your EP'S and you know what to do so have fun and relax. STEP OUT AND FEEL THE RUSH!!!! LATER SKYBOMB
  23. I went threw something real close to what you were talking about, I would think about skydiving all day at work and at home and everything was great. As I got closer and closer to the DZ I would start getting more and more nervous and by the time I got there I was a nervous wreck and would talk my self out of jumping. I had to sit back and ask myself if this is what I really wanted or not. I made up my mind and asked my friend and instructor what to do about it and he said to come out on a sunday when they weren't very busy and he would take me up and go out with me as many times as it took to get over the ground gobblen. It worked great 5 jumps in one day and am I still nervous yes but the fear of the ground has not kept me there. Go to the DZ and hang out get to know people and and work out your fear of the ground gobblen don't let it take the thrill away from you, you have been there and you have felt the rush think back. 24. excellent question now that you mention it my handles are pretty high on my rig and no I probably wont be able to look down and see my handles so I think an open face helmet is probably the better way to go.
