I always notice more fathers than mothers getting teary eyed over their children at these things. We get a real kick out of it. The father's are like, "Look there, that's my child." (And I am like, I know...I see them every day just about too! )

I feel for your need to vent but am wondering, and I ask this gently and out of curiosity, is it entirely ethical to be sharing such a confidential story in such public forum as this? Doesn't it violate a rule or law of confidentiality of some sort? Please don't be offended by my post here, I just wonder and worry for you and the little girl is all.

The dance recital for my students was today. They looked awesome!! I have two older girls accepted by top schools in my area. I got major presents from their parents. (One even gave me a day at a local spa.) Also, they gave me flowers and lots of hugs. I would post pictures but they're minors and I am not allowed without their parent's permission. Trust me though, it was cool and they were MAJORLY CUTE!! Anyone else have a damn good day and want to share?

I have been and am continuing to go through so many ups and downs that yes I am jaded and a bit cynical over the 'miracle cure'. Everything is derived from nature actually if you think about it, it all depends upon what humanity does with it that counts. Even chemotherapy. I agree with Jaye. Were you cured or simply put into remission? Remission is wonderful and all, it's a beautiful thing but remission isn't a cure. Well do I know. I am truly happy that you might have found something that works but so had I and for a time it did. I just see everything in life as temporary. And ftr, I am fine here. You don't have to pm me about this post. It's all good. I just have bad days.

I chop up tons of different fruits and throw them in a mason jar and chow on them when I want to binge.

Don't assume that it has anything to do with you git. Some people shut down and just need space once in awhile. Like me. I frequently shut incoming pm's for up to a week. Most of time people don't even notice. Those who are really close to me know it's never personal or directed at anyone. It's just me being moody and stressed or dealing with health issues. Cheer up and wait your friend out a week and see if she comes back around.

Couldn't agree more with everything she said... I wonder how many times people have missed amazing relationships and moments by overthinking that kind of stuff... I agree with her too here. Each person is different. That's what makes getting to know new people so wonderful and exciting.
