Melissa's injury was upgraded from 2-4 week recovery to 2-4 month recovery. She has a nasty tear in her calf muscle. She's having a pretty difficult time walking, but has good spirits and high hopes of a faster recovery so she can resume jumping. She should be out at the DZ saturday to hang out for a while. Hey, I haven't heard any new news other than he was transferred from Louisburg hospital to Wake Med on New Bern Ave. We plan to visit tomorrow. I was on the same load but didn't see landing. It was a level 5 student. From what others told me it sounded like a high(student initiated) flare followed by a stall before landing. OUCH! Jack was hurting pretty bad... student was stunned but OK. Let's all pray for Jacks quick recovery! Keith "Jump to Live!"

To set the record straight... The Fockers have no paid coaching. We had no more than 30 minutes of tunnel time each, and we only competed in 1 meet last season... The true key to our accoplishment so far is that we jump a lot... and try to fly 4-way anytime possible, even if not with our team. We also try to keep very positive attitiude that the meets are for fun... not competition. we try to stay loose and relaxed and enjoy the skydive. The Fockers are very comforatable jumping together and I think we have a good vibe. I wouldn't be surprised if we score over 30 at next meet... so I hope you all are practicing :) Good Luck! see you in Raeford... Keith "Jump to Live!"

Yeah, all the fatalities this past week is a bit crazy!! I can't believe another student fell out of a tandem harness... I hope this doesn't hurt the tandem industry, since the publicity has been pretty high! Emily- count Melissa and I in for supporting Rob's concert. The landing off idea sounds great :) Sorry I can't go, but you would have to pay me $65 to sit through that concert :) Keith "Jump to Live!"

Hey Darin, Glad to hear your having fun in CO. I'm also happy to hear you decided you don't want to move there. I thought same thing about Nevada... nice place to visit but I could never live there! Frontier Skydivers a great place to jump but we aren't cheap

Frontier is an Awesome DZ! My wife and I both went through AFF there last summer, and have nothing but great things to say about the people! We really miss jumping there, (but we dont miss the Buffalo weather!). While we love our new home DZ Carolina Sky Sports, we'll never forget the great times and training we had at Froniter! We hope to see all our Frontier friends at the Batavia boogie! Anyone looking for a great DZ to train at in Western NY should definitely check out Frontier! Prices are really very comparable to any other turbine DZ. And to John Elliot... you get what you pay for, so go ahead and find your $1000 A license elsewhere... it's just your life Blue Skies! Stop by Carolina Sky Sports in Loiusburg, NC. It's only about 45-60 minutes off I-95. They have the best facilities and aircraft in the carolinas. The people are great too. We usually jump Casa's on weekends... If not the Casa we jump a Pac750. There's Always loads going up when weather is good (wed-sun)! Yo! Thanks to all for coming out to Frankies on friday! I really had a great time hanging out with all of you! The Go-carts were a blast! Thanks BJ & Matt for letting us hang at your place after Frankies closed... can't believe how fast we killed that bottle of Jack! I was so happy to have my skydiving family come celebrate my old age :) I can't wait 'til weather gets better so we can start having bonfires again! YOU ALL ROCK! I'm so glad we came to NC cause we have such a great SKYDIVING family here! Can't wait to jump with you all soon... Weather looks great wed-fri so plan to jump in sfternoon if u can!
