I don't do much hunting any more and never did hunt turkeys but here in Michigan there are more of them now than ever before. I don't remember ever seeing or even hearing as many pheasants which there are hardly any of now. This guy has the right approach. One of the points made in the magazine article was that we need to make people feel welcome and not like outsiders. This applies to AFF students also. You don't see experienced folks stopping to chat with a group of people waiting for their tandem. I downloaded the users manual at the Samsung site. It comes with the extra lense even though it may not show it on some sites that are reviewing it. It sure looks like it would be fun to play with. I think I could come up with a mount on one side of my Havok where the audible goes. I am a Christian and am glad to see this thread. For those that seem worried that if we get together they will be bothered by us at the DZ: I try to live my Christian life at work, skydiving etc. as an example. finally...(the coolest) a standup under a brilliant red Thunderbow with a huge blue arrow (this way forward? What a cool canopy). They called it the Polish ParaCommander because the arrow always told you which way you were going. I have about 100 jumps on one. I personally would not want be kept alive in a vegetable state or even near vegetable state for years. Even worse would be if I were paralyzed from my neck down. That would be the most difficult thing to experience for me. If I were this lady I would rather be dead. Quote What if this lady is different than most people posting here. I have no idea. It's another very real aspect of the problem. Just like the "pro-lifers" who want to stop abortions but won't help single moms raise or feed their babies. The Catholic Church has many homes for unwed mothers. The y help them more than probably any other institution. My wife has put many layettes together for these women. So now we put a value in dollars on someone's life. Do we keep going and figure grandpa is going to suck up too much money in the nursing home so let's get rid of him while he still has some money to leave us. Nope, not trolling. Just repeating what I heard. I truly hope what you say is true. Apparently there are a lot of people that can't agree. But I still think being wrong on the side of death is not the way to go. I agree that it would a strong person to stay around for 15 years. But I guess my biggest problem is that I have seen videos of her and she sure responds a lot more than a vegatative person. I listened to a doctor that spent 10 hours evaluating her recently and he says he has seen worse cases come around. He is a neuroligist that has been nominated for Nobel prize. Well if he was a loving husband that seemed to have her welfare at heart instead of raising another family with someone he isn't married to I might take his side. As to gay marriage - no I don't agree with it. I don't hate gay people either. I am a Christian and believe that it is a sin. I hate the sin, not the sinner. I would not turn a gay person away, I would not insult one. I am not perfect and have told a gay joke or two, but I strive not to. Yes, she will suffer greatly. Yes she will be put on strong pain killers. But mostly so her caretakers can stand to be around her and not have to see all of the pain. On our local Catholic radio station they interviewed a doctor that had spent a year and half caring for her. He stated that people dying this way spasm so much that they have broken their own backs. He also states that she is not vegatative. She responds to conversation, she even lookedtoward the light of the window when he told her there were squirrels outside. Her so called husband (who has had two children with his basically common law wife since she became sick has refused to let her have any therepy for swallowing or speech. This doctor was quite certain she could have learned to eat. A feeding tube is not extraordinary means of life support. Many people with many conditions need a feeding tube. I started in 1974 and was very sporodic. I just started again after about 7 years off. What a change since then. My first canopy was a Thunderbow. Hence my user name. Staged steering, tons of big lines, what fun to pack. Two malfunctions on it in about 100 jumps. They called it the Polish paracommander because it had an arrow built into the design that was always an off color.
