Normally, I don't really get into these kinda debates but I must be feeling a little "Froggy". While I agree with your comment, I have also seen that Mommy and Daddy pay for that. Going to college (we will not talk about when) my part time job paid for books, gas, car upkeep and whatever else my LOAN did not pay for. With the family structure now, parents have MUCH more income then when I grew up. My brother and I are 10 years apart and the difference was uncanny. My parents gave out more money to "pay for" not being there to buy life experiences. I am always amazed at the young people coming into the sport with a healthy bank account.

While I totally agree, there is some debate as to what is taking responsibility. I.e. I screwed up, it was my fault. As a human being with the brain capacity to make choices in my life, I did _______. or It was because of _____ or _____ I did ______. To me this is an excuse not owning up. For whatever reason something was done, it is STILL a choice up to the individual. I really don't believe "peer pressure" or "to drunk" or any other excuses stops one from making a choice. If a person screws up, it still boils down to it was an individual choice. As humans we have the ability to reason and understand that there are consequences. Understanding the basic knowledge of actions and reactions should come into play. As this is the speakers corner, everything is up to a logical debate. Okay, well it depends on what some think is logical. (sorry, thought I might lighten the tone up a little) Muff Brother # 3883, SCR # 14796 ICD # 1 - Pres. Yeah, I noticed and I think it's funny!

I make mistakes DAILY!! Although, I do find it rather amusing that some people post in SC forums to note a "change". Suddenly to be taken serious as if this wipes the slate clean. To claim one thing (I am a good _____) but to have so many bad examples of ( _____ ) does make one wonder. Feel free to insert whatever makes you happy in the blanks!

DAMN ATL TRAFFIC!!!! If I can wait to make a turn so can everyone else. I tend to ignore those who try to make a last minute turn into lane. Roads are marked for a reason, try to follow them!
