Tipping a waitress or waiter?!! In the US??-- get real, OF COURSE!!! I waited tables from age 16 to 26, it paid for undergrad. and 1/2 of grad. in fact. The min. wage for servers is way below min. wage standard, when I waited tables it was on 2.10 an hour & on a slow day, it killed you. It's much higher now but it is still legal to pay servers sub-minimum wage. Your server may make as little as 3.85 in some states. Just keep this in mind, they get a lot messes & take a lot of 'tude. And most of the time, they take it politely. Please feel free to reply to my posts and pm's, but only if you're smart enough to understand what they really mean.
