Given the remarkable diversity on this site I thought I would give this a try. My Sony HD TV appears to have died before my eyes. The error message is as follows: Six blinks on the display = No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206. Total Greek to me. According to the Sony user boards what I may have is a 250 pound paperweight. Any suggestions and or feedback would be appreciated. Any smart-ass remarks and irreverent comments will be expected.

Not a lawyer, but my understanding is most states require that you have an agent for service of process in any state in which you do business.

As a city kid (at the time, and not a kid now), I must admit, I drove that route in 197ish and have never seen the sky full of more stars in my life. We actually stopped during the trip to look at the sky. It was a wonder to to the westcoast city-boy.

I'll tread lightly here (given the illogical love you Texans have for your state) but the drive from Albuquerque to Amarillo is truly the most boring ugly drive in the west. Oh wait, I went back through Salina KS to Denver, so never mind.

The local news in San Diego just ran a short (30 second) piece wherein Jeb Corliss stated he will attempt to land a wingsuit on a 2 million dollar ramp in Las Vegas within two months.

I know you guys who post these photos and videos hear this constantly from those of us with grown children. ONCE AGAIN, TREASURE THIS TIME! My oldest baby is 27. I just spent the day with my 6 year old grandchild, don't ignore the clinging, the hey daddy (grandpa) look at this for the 300th time today, which comes when they are 3,4,5 and 6. Too soon they are 15 and then the real fun begins. Good luck and work to prepare for the interesting years.

My advanced years have taught me it wasn't the particular degree, (specific degrees for specific jobs excepted), but the grind of the process. When under severe pressure, (I work for a large law firm), the stress of planning for 3 finals in 2 days has served me well when the shit hits the fan. The old multi-tasking in a fast pace environment clap-trap. Is there any degree less useful in the real world than my B.A. in psychology?

4.0, tried like a MOFO to achieve this goal in my college career, never happened. Very impressive. Now go jump out of a airplane. I'll be thinking of you while visiting the babies in gooberville. Take the TA position, it helps when it comes to grad school recommendations.

Very nice bonus here. Large law firms are extraordinarily stressful to work for, but damn, they sure know how to use the golden handcuffs. I am grateful for the wonderful benefits, but wish I had more time to experience and enjoy life. -
For a real wake-up call go to law school. The prices you've listed were typical for law school text books 15 years ago. Today, I can only imagine what they cost. Then again, what is the cost these days, financially, of not having the damn BA every employer seems to require?
