  1. Hi Mike, What kind of colors are your jump suit(s), this was what made me choose the colors for my Icon. F ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  2. Hey Z, What i'm told is that its released, hope you can get your hands on one soon. Looking forward to your posting. Later F ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  3. You can make very nice swoops with the Pilot, it builds up good speed when making a frontriser turn and has a nice powerful flare. The pilot can be as fast as a Stiletto only the openings are nicer. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  4. Who knows something about this digital camera from Minolta? Is it any good for skydive pictures? ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  5. By the way the same goes for the Xfire, why not try the 129? I hope you'll give some feedback of your demos. The reason i'm asking is because i was looking for a 135-er aswell and started demo jumping a Pilot 140 but ended up buying a Pilot 124. 6. vdschoor, Why do you want to jump al 135's and from Aerodyne the 140's? Why not try there 132 Pilot & Vision. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)

  8. Aerodyne Pilot, opens soft & onheading. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  9. Nicolas, I've ordered a Pilot 124 (loading it 1.87 : 1). It is not as radicale in turns as a Stiletto with the same wingload. With front risser turns the Pilot builds up great speed so you can make very nice swoops with it. Also if you want to fly in deep brakes its very stable, flying back from a long spot is no problem. And i want to say it again the openings are great. F ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  10. depends on the sizes of the canopies ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  11. I'm jumping a Stiletto now with a topmount camera. The openings are not very hard, but alot are offhaeding. This i don't like about the Stiletto. I've ordered a Pilot after demoing one and i just loved the openings; soft and onheading. Just the way you want it when jumping with a camera on your head. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  12. 117 jumps in 3 years???? Don't do camera jumps, don't even start jumping with a camrea suit. If you keep up this number off jumps a year, forget about camerajumping. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  13. I hate it when my PC spins up, i also would like to know what to do about it. It's not just with a freefly handle, i've got a Hackey and it 'll twist up my bridle just as bad. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  14. I've orderd a Pilot 124. After jumping different sizes starting with a 140, to a 132 and a 124. I found it a very nice canopy, the openings are great and on heading. Because i make camerajumps this is a big pro for me. The flare is good and you can build up good speed for a nice swoop with a frontriser turn. The riser pressure is not building up like the stilleto i'm jumping now. I don't think so, its much more elliptic and therefore more agressive. If your not looking for a X-fire kind of canopy, i would not go for the Vision. And why not load a pilot more than 1.5, it still flies great with a 1.8 wingload. Best thing is to demo one to find out yourself. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  15. I have got some advice, well others have said it already. Don't do camera jumps yet, have fun, learn from your mistakes, funnel a 4 base on exit etc. etc. Learn to pack your new canopy, learn to fly your new canopy. And most of all PULL IN TIME. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  16. I've junped a demo Vision 132. It had a nice long snivel at opening. It flies great, it doesn't build up riser pressure as much as a Stiletto. It has a great flare and nice long swoops. I think its is beter to compare it with a crossfire2, than the safire2 or sabre2. Becuase its more elliptic then the safire and sabre. If you are looking for a canopy to replace your Spectre, try the Aerodyne Pilot. It has more performance than the Spectre. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. 17. Here's another Stiletto cameraman (1.55:1). On openings i just let it go it's way. I never look up at the snivel and just wait for the canopy to open. When the stiletto starts to fly (only the end cells not completely filled) i grape mij rear risers and keep it on heading. SO i would say keep your head neutral and wait a second. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)

  19. If you have the chance demo an Aerodyne Pilot. I orderd a Pliot after i jumped it, i tried different sizes and all of them where great. The pilot has the best onheading and soft openings. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  20. If you look at the size of the Smart 135, it is the same as a speed 150. SO its also a matter of how to get the size of a canopy. When i whout have posted that i've ordered a speed 150, i think i never got this much comment. I know that it's my/your last hope if i'm in trouble, that is why i test jumped a Smart 150. The main i ordered is even smaller and will fitt a smaller rig, but i sticked to my reseve minimum of 135 and ordered a "bigger"rig. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  21. you are 232 lbs (106 kg) and you are getting a 135 reserve - not good - just my opinion.... rm I jumped the 150 and so i got a reference so tell me, Why not? ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM. (nothing is difficult for those who really want it)
  22. I jumped a demo Smart 150 loading it at 1.55. It flew very well, like an 7 cell needs to fly.It responses well to toggle in-put and is realy easy to land. I tested it because i wanted to buy a 150 smart, but after jumping one i ordered a 135 smart. ------------------------------------------------ NIL VOLENTIBUS ARDUUM.
