What is your field of work?
Superman32 replied to Superman32's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I guess I'll have to change my field of work from eveeel scientist to soon to be stressed out and sleep deprived medical student -
On the contrary. I now have to 'play' doctor as much as possible before school actually starts. Are you going to be in Dublin ...

End Cell Closures - Canopy too big due to weight loss?
Superman32 replied to ntrprnr's topic in Gear and Rigging
Somewhere in the PD website there is a video showing end-cell closures. They say just let the thing fly and it will correct itself or pump the breaks and it will inflate. I think the video is about the Sabre2 I've been jumping the S2 and pretty much every jump has had end-cell closure. I like the soft opening so don't care much about it Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches! -
Really nice read. But talk about low turns -- turning to final at 200ft Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

I'm glad, I got mine. Got a new open box from ebay, as well, and paid $400 for the HC40.

Sometimes when you sell gear, they go to really good homes

I agree, I always stow my brakes and uncollapse my slider when I land. Always cock the PC after laying the canopy down and then check it again before folding it. Confidence and repetition is key. P.S. A little paranoia is also good Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Thank you

S**T, I'll use my rig as a pillow. I'm concerned about the time between, the last jump and me going to sleep, i.e. drunk time Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

Yeah dude! Just can't wait for Dublin
-
I know there have been threads about this before but I just can't find it. Dublin is going to be my beer (non home Dz) boogie. How do you secure your gear while at big boogies. I will be flying in and tenting, so locking in the car is not an option. It's very sad that this is even a concern, but with whuffos around and unfortunately less than honest jumpers, like that freaky kid at WFFC Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
