    One great thing that I had going for me is that my office window was right by loading...so she could see people getting on the plane and she was also used to the engine noise. The one thing I suggest is... do not take for granted that she won't go by the plane when running and loading jumpers...there was a dog (at the airport owned by a pilot) that was "trained", supposedly, not to go near the plane and got its nosed whacked by the propeller.     You need to get the dog used to people first and foremost. Having a dog that could/would bite someone is not good at all. I kept my two dogs that were at the DZ in my office or out on a lead for awhile so they could get used to the crowds. When in the packing area, they were never off their leash when 'chutes were out....when the plane was running they were never off the leash. Just a few thoughts.
