I think that it maybe be a way to show someone how "smart" you are given that there are alot of people here that have never met...so there for every little bit helps...humor, spelling...the way you come "across" in general...you know...per conceived notions. True story... My parents bought their first house...they carried a 30 yr mortgage. They paid the house off in 7 yrs...my father never went to work with more then a dime in his pocket, for those emergency phone calls...you know, "just in case'. They owned three houses including the first one. The last two they paid cash for and their beach home they paid cash for and sold it about 5 yrs ago. Their cars? Paid cash. My father has been retired now from RCA for about 16 yrs. They both collect SS and my dad took a lump sum on his retirement fund...they do not do "without" but they live sensibly so that me and my siblings have a small forturne when they kick the bucket. I met a strange creature yesterday. She didn't like the beach. She'd much rather hang at a pool. Pools are ok, I guess, especially if they have a swim up bar...but still, give me a sandy beach, warm balmy breezes, and a surf board/or good book and I am a happy camper. So which one are you? The one absolutely awesome thing that NJ has going for it that I truly miss is a boardwalk...there is nothing like the Ocean City boardwalk...the sights, sounds, smells.....when I go back with my kids every summer, I make a point to take them there...not to be confused with the Wildwood or Atlantic City boardwalks...Childhood memories come rushing back to me as I spent every summer there growing up as a child.

I have found that you either LOVE NJ or HATE NJ....I go back often, I have family there and I can't wait to get back home...its crazy there. New Jersey sucks...born and raised there...cost of living is outrageous...losing whatever green there is in the "garden state" moment by moment. Being from the Northeast and now I am a transplant to the SE, Georgia more specific.... Lets see Nothing good about New Jersey except maybe the shore area from Ocean City down to the Cape. Pennsylvania...depressing Virginia? Lots of pretty places...very "Revolutionary"... The Carolinas? The coasts on both are nice...further in the mountains are nice in NC. New York? Well thats a state of mind. Been to all, spent considerable time in all those states...I love where I live much better, no freezing colder then a witches tit type of weather. Oh by no means am I anti-red neck..hell my one son was born here and my oldest son has spent 9 1/2 yrs of his 11 yr old self in the south, so by all standards he is red neck too. These people are just plain weird.....it all goes back to when the crazy neighbor lady's "hubby"/boyfriend worked for my SO. He no longer works for my SO...thats a whole other story in itself. She claimed that he was/wanted to f*** me. Eeeeeew he is a back woods redneck, she CNL, is from Germany...born there, raised in California. Talk about an odd combination. I started a whole thread about that incident a few months back. "Hubby" told me to "never ask CNL questions about me such as, "how is he doing? How is he feeling?" You know the type of questions...neighborly..polite questions. Well she took it as me wanting his ass. Once again I say...EWWWWWWWWWW. So she acted weird for about a week...avoided me...screaming and yelling going on in their house...the whole nine yards and then like a light went off..she was a sweet as can be, talked to me like nothing ever happened...went out of her way to do everything and anything she could for me... Hence she is and always will be Crazy Neighbor Lady. So I have no problem with "red necks", just freakin crazy people!! They are not harrassing me...just hot and cold towards my family...when they are hot...they are really hot...and when they are cold...good god...turn the freezer down will ya??!!
