BWAAAHHAA!! Because there is so much activity going on the runway i.e, planes stacked up for departure, lot's of spinning props, excited/nervous pilots, we over-exaggerate our body movements. If you use short waves with just your arms the pilots don't see it and will just sit there blocking the runway. I just got home from working SNF for the past week and a half and I am beat. Having to hang out on the runway all day and give departure wave-offs to Warbirds, Fighters, Jets and every sort of flying contraption built is truly boring. (Pics 2 &3) Then working in the tower and having to talk to 100's of planes and trying to make sure every one goes right over J and Jamie's living room while joking with the Hooter Chicks is rough!. (Pic 1) And if that's not bad enough, every night having to go out with our Team and drink beer, hang without the Hooter chicks, who took really care of us, (Pic 4) and trying to keep Shane (2Fat2Fly) from getting into too much trouble. Then running over to ZHills to get in a few jumps when I got an early afternoon off is just criminal. No one should be required to have that much friggin FUN! It was a blast and I can't wait til next year. Now I finally get a chance to sleep.

Hey Everybody, It's friday night about 1230am I guess that makes it saturday morning and I just got in from working and having a few beers with Shane (2fat2fly). I've been working my ass off trying to see just how many planes I could vector over J and Jamie's house and it looks like I have been right on the money. It was good going out with you guys the other night and thanks for the drinks and dinner, that was too nice. It has been chaos down here with a couple of wrecks but no serious injuries. The fire got started when someone parked in the grass and the catalytic converter lit the grass and burned 24 cars. Luckily it was over on "the Zoo" side (SNF) and mine wasn't in it. I worked tower this morning and departure this afternoon and we landed and departed about 2000 planes today . II'll be back in the tower tomorrow so if you are flying in to SNF watch out.
