Newbie Gear Question: Spectre, Triathalon, or ??

The Triathlon will teach you how to fly. It is an excellent canopy. Much easier to pack then the spectre and in no way elliptical. If my son were to start jumping today he would be on a Triathlon. Not downing the spectre in any way as they are both great canopies. -

Diablo... At the loading I was at it was TONS of fun.. It dived like a rock.. Turned amazingly fast.. Glide wasn't anything great but it was o.k... And it shut down REALLY quick.. Not something I would swoop a pond with by any means.. IT was an INCREDIBLY rock solid canopy. Rhino

I guess a bungee cord would have come in handy too?? Brings back memories at the wffc.. I remember going up in the balloon.. To start it off the guy burnt a 4 foot hole in the material and then said "don't worry about it".. So up to about a thousand feet I was uncomfortable as hell.. Felt and looked like we were climbing slower than everyone else.. I just wanted the hell out of that balloon...
