    Anything from I-beams in construction to car driveshafts.. Just SNAP.. No reason.. Defect in the metal. Things break all the time for no apparent reason. I build redundant security systems, computer networks.. Everything I do pretty much has a backup. Why shouldn't my rig be the same? I have a reserve parachute? Why not have redundancy in other possible points of failure? Rhino

    Not designed to Hook?? Have you seen Derek hook his vx60? He does a pretty damned good job for something that isn't designed to do that.. lol

    I am also having the same type of webbing that a chest strap is made of run behind the hip ring from the top piece of webbing to the leg strap. The the hip ring will maintain it's flexibility and I will have a 1 in 100,000 backup for that hip ring. Built in redundancy if you will. Arrows illustrate.

    Find a REAL chiropractor... The ones that don't guess.. They run an analyzer down your back that detects muscle heat and tension.. You get a print out of problem areas and when they do work you immediately feel results. My wife "6 months pregnant" was having severe back pain. She went in and these people target specific vertibre. Her back pain has subsided. Not only did they do the adjustment she gets a really cool massage before hand to loosen her back muscles. I was skeptical at first but man has it done her allot of good.. Rhino

    What performance characteristice are you looking for in going crossbraced? I thought I wanted to go crossbraced. I bought a new Xaos21-98 loaded at the time at 1.8 and it felt like a boat! Dove slow, turned slow, responded slow.. Slow compared to what I was use and accustomed to with my Diablo110 that I was jumping. Jumped back out of crossbraced to the Crossfire2-97 now loaded over 1.95 "I've gained weight". No performance comparison at all other than bottom end. Crossfire2-97 in comparison to the Xaos21-98 turns faster, dives harder, responds MUCH quicker to any sort of input. I think to get the type of performance out of a crossbraced canopy I would have to be in a wing loading I am simply not going to put myself under.. 2.2 ish probably. I can't say enough good things about the Crossfire2.. Maybe you should demo one before going crossbraced.. You might be suprised? Rhino
