I think it means the clock is already counting down... 80-90 percent of Brits do not appose military action in Iraq. The issue they are having is doing it without the UN resolution. o.k. now I will break it down.. You cannot base your national security policy on "History" as Bill put is 10-20-30 years ago. Today is a different day and age. Different threats and weapons are involved. Our national security doctrine has changes as of Sept 11. The cold war is over and a much more dangerous threat exists. That threat is something that must be forecasted and planned for worst case scenario. Rhino
