    I thought pretty much all right of ways for railroads, communications, and electricity were secured YEARS ago. If it's new infrastructure, it's usually pretty quick to get approved and installed. At least from what I've seen building out corporate infrastructure, data centers, and communications providers.

    Fully agreed Jerry, My experience was with my ex-wife. We later had 3 daughters, and it was wonderful raising my girls. I later also aborted the marriage. My ex wife slept with EVERYBODY. MC

    I clearly misread your comments. I think we're actually in agreement, my apologies. I have been through the abortion issue, but not when it was illegal, and we were BOTH part of the decision. I also felt her decision carried a lot more weight than mine. It was the right decision for us and where we were in life at that time.

    Interesting thought - I hadn't considered the civil aspect, given the Texas focus on it being criminal. If I cross state lines and do something legal in that state, I didn't think another state could prosecute for something illegal in a state you weren't in at the time of the "crime". Land of the free my ass. I'm embarrassed at what America is becoming.

    THAT is funny. Yet uncomfortable to have to deal with in regards to the children. I had always told myself to never lie to my girls. This made for some quite difficult discussions at times. The will STILL come to me with those difficult discussions about EVERYTHING. I'm thankful for that.

    Meanwhile....Toyota has a 700 mile range battery and expected to increase that to 900+ within the next couple of years. It fully charges in 10 minutes. Solid-state batteries (as opposed to lithium-ion batteries, which use a liquid electrolyte) are regarded as a potential turning point for EVs. They have the power to reduce charging times, increase capacity, and reduce fire risk.
