Not everyone can go out and drop 4 or 5 grand at one time, buying something here and there works as long as you are safe doing it. Who Dares Wins -

You might be right, all of mine are barn cats and mice etc is their main subsistence, none of them have ever came up and presented me with a present, but I do toss them some from time to time. Who Dares Wins

I jumped a Raven4 on saturday, DZ owned rig, that has about 500 jumps on it. I weigh about 200, so even with gear it was not overloaded. This thing had absolutely NO flare to it al all, and beleive me I tried. So, keep in mind the number of jumps on th canopy and loss of porosity, in addition to the wing loading. Who Dares Wins

Very nice, thanks Who Dares Wins

Start without them, learn to fly yourself before adding anything else. Try (weather permitting) shorts and t-shirt, this way you learn to fly, after that the proper jumpsuit with or without booties will probably enhance your capabilities. Who Dares Wins

Do you wear earplugs during the climb?

I've got a Rio 600 MP3 player that is small and fits inside my jumpsuit in the inside pocket, download whatever tunes I want to listen to for the day, plug in the earphones and away we go. Who Dares Wins -

Go ahead and dump it, you'll be fine. I use Outlook 2002 for email and Outlook Express for newsreader and haven't been infected yet (knock on wood). I update the virus definitions with Norton every week, Sunday evening, as long as you keep it updated it does a very good job at catching the nasties. Who Dares Wins
