well said Nick...ive been saying 500 jumps with some caveats to a lot of potentials here in england for some years...some take notice some dont..its quite interesting to see the ethical standards and complete lack of risk comprehension that the nose thumbers have...the uk has twelve newbies at least either in Norway right now or who have done courses so far this year and the numbers are rising..the scary thing is only a few have ever jumped a big seven cell..hardly any have done any crw and the same numbers have over 500 skydives...we have had one fatality here this year that was completely avoidable and god forbid i fear more are coming.. it scares me shitless... 500 jumps should be the bare minimum

trespass is a civil offence in so much as for you to be prosecuted the property owners have to sue you,for that they need proof you trespassed and a name and address and if there is a reasonable doubt that access wasnt restricted in anyway( and that sometimes includes fences) it is very costly to see through and wont even make it to court...the police will have nothing to do with it unless its whats known as aggravated tresspass...thats where damage to property or people comes into the mix...

dont be such a BASE jumper maybe? you need to lighten up tenshi mate...this forum is full of people who shouldnt be here passing comment on things they know little or nothing about...comment on legality is unwelcome especially when uninformed as these sites are scanned regularly by law enforcement agencies as well as the press...so the more we look like we dont know what we are doing the more reckless we look and the more they can shaft us in the courts and the media...maybe you should think outside the box a ittle...best regards and happy jumping...

the bpa will let you jump BASE canopies...subject to CCI approval...some dropzones will let you jump a BASE rig so long as you wear a chestmount reserve..you just have to ask..your jump numbers in my oppinion will exclude you from doing this at most uk dzs but you can try...however jumping the canopy in a suitable container shouldnt be an issue if you get a proper breifing.

not sure if eric jones still jumps but hes been around a while and was doing some cool shit when he started...he was one of the first to do the eiger...not from the fungus but some other exit...he did a lot with Moe V...anyway...im 38 for what its worth...

ive used a 42 vented from 225 feet with no discernable difference..i would happily take a 1 to 2 decond delay from 300 with your set up and a vented 42..assuming your exit weight is ok..mine isnt...i load both my rigs pretty hard which may help...

LMFAO.... Gerve...that objects not really a good place to do your first freefall,and as the heat is on the increase there its not really a place to be in the dark with only six or so jumps and any doubts in your mind...speak to some of the jumpers at your dropzone (and there are plenty) and they will im sure save you the drive next time...there are plenty of more suitable jumps in your locale for a jumper with your experience...
