My first canopy was a sabre 170 had done about 850 when i got it. Had it relined and was / still is a great canopy a friend has it and loves it to bits. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

I've just recently started jumping my S2 135, but had the same prob with a 150, tip i got from an instructor at DZ who also jumps S2 is to keep feet together on deployment, seems its a bit of a pendulem effect that causes the turn at the end of deployment. This has helped me and some others but not everyone, worth giving a try!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

Yup in a newbie compared to the rest posting, but I have an interest in gear and working my way through learning to pack different things, pack tandems and exp kit most weekends. But i'm still supprised the amount of experiance jumpers who either can pack or are very poor with little knowledge of there kit. The seeing green thing as well, mine slips all the time but pilot chute is def cocked good bit of excess left. not so much at my dz but when i go visit other ppl are alway hung up when theydont see it!! to a detramental extent! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

Hey the whole PC range is basically discontinued. thanks for the help. In the end i just went for another PC105 got it on ebay new for £365 (UK) all in. Yup Learn to live cheap seems to be it, Although i've not done as many jumps as some (240+) in 2 years that includes a summer getting through static line in with scottish weather. But own all my own gear on my second canopy, have camera/helmet, ff fs suits etc open face and full face and the usual bits and bobs of gear. I have also gone through 3 new cars and several skiing hols in that time!!! Ok have a decent job and salary. Skidiving is payed by packing. (ok and a few homers for work). everything else is out salary. it amazes me how much money ppl waste each week on crap like chocolate magazines smoking, take your own sandwich to work and dz, i cut out the little things which lets me do all the other stuff only go out drink once twice a month. Not been single for most of the time either, although makes a big difference on spending. answer Budget Budget Budget and give up the junk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

I started my jumping here, and its my home away from home. Everyone works really hard to make it the best they can, resulting in a great atmosphere for everyone and lots of fun along the way. Not cliques no hassles just jumping and having fun.

Yea I set up a uni club a couple years back and every year would bet in excess of 400 name out of that your lucky if 10 actually want to do it badly enough for fork out the cash to start....we have zeroxes with adjustable harness at our dz and there damn good. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

Hi, Guys I know this threads been done over and over but havin trouble finding previous posts on it, yes i'm crap at searchin the web. Anyway I currently have a PC105e, was sold it as a favour and now selling it back. So looking for another sony. There are a few available at the moment but which ones are as good as or better than the 105. Opinions are PC55es / PC120 /PC 103e / PC101 / PC 120 / PC55 There area also a couple PC1000 going as well which I know are meant to be the best (any comments on this would be great). Also I have found 1 pc105 which i could just go for, just wondered whats good.. Will be going in a 2K FF2.. First - GO speack to an instructor at your DZ. second - Go speak to an instructor at your DZ. You'll get opinions from jumps at various level with various opinions here that you can't vouch your life on!! Have to say I love my spectre and is by far the nicest canopy I've ever jumped and by far best openings (in my opinion). However trying to find a 135 at the mo and can find one for sale!! always be careful on ebay!!! sure someone with more experiance will answer this better!! but i PERSONALLY wouldn't like such a difference in size from main to reserve. last thing i want is to have to deal with a different faster canopy (remember reserve are f111) when i could be low and busing with adrenaline not necessarily near a good spot to land!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

Hey i have only done a couple jumps on a sabre 2 with no probs but a few mates and other ppl have mentioned the turning how they solved it This coming from our CCI who jumps a s2 150 is to keep your feet together on opening keeping the pendulum effect balaced to the centre!!! give it a try everyone i know who had this prob then tryed this, generally gets on heading openings everytime now!! blues! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large Groups!!

Just don't do what i did and put a oven on that was set for degrees C and the instructions said Farhenheight!!!! hehe caught it just in time!!! mine fitted great! got bored on weather hold so baked it!!
