the wings i jumped did not have a spandex pouch it was codura with an elastic opening not sure if that was the cause of if the girl that packed the pilot chute. the instructor told me that another jumper had a hard pull on it before. beyond that i dont know. if my calculations are correct SLINKY + ESCULATOR = EVERLASTING FUN my site

I thought this would be a better place to diccuss than in the incidents fourm but it is related to a post there. this past weekend i borrowed an instructos rig.(wings container, diablo 150 main,tempo 150 res,cypress equiped and on) After an uneventful 2 way with my brother, I tracked then went to pull. on the first attempt i could no extract the boc(hackey), the second i pulled it out about 2 in,told my self one more time then go for silver. On the final attempt i pulld as hard as i could and the pilot chute finaly came out. started deployment a 3500 was open by 2200(glad i puled high, pre planed). so to every one no matter how many times you go over a rig expect the unexpected.and know your backup plans( go once ,go twice,if it don't work on the third time go silver!!)
