Some people are at the DZ today...where are YOU!?
-
Actually it was the Travel Channel .. not the Discovery Channel. We shall see what happens with it.
-
well, at least that way I wouldn't be looking for them in the morning You have a VERY good point!
-
Skydive Tecumseh! It is where I made my first jump at, I make 99% of my jumps there, I work there, my dad use to jump there, it is where my parents met and the place is just a cool place to be. It is where I go to play with my friends

Oopsey, that's what i meant. My typing doesn't always work well with what I mean to say.

Wow, no less than 500 words. I just did mine for admissions into my MBA program, but it only had to be a paragraph. I mostly outlined my experience and why I felt the program would benefit me and how my experience would benefit the program as well.

Actually I got my PC-105 back in April, so far so good. But I ended up buying a PC-1000 a couple of weeks ago, I just couldn't resist. Haven't had a chance to mount it yet though because I need to rearrange my helmet. The thumb screw is farther out and doesn't fit on my L bracket.

No worries, it's his signature line. We all KNOW it will be the party of the year!!

I had a similiar horrible experience with Sony that is documented in your thread as well. I do believe they actually just raised their flat rate to $300 and something. That is what was holding up my camera the last time I sent it to them until I had to nicely remind them that this repair was on their dime, not mine.

YAY!! Congrats Carl, I'm glad we can send you back to Colorado with your 'A'. Make sure you bring out beer this week! For my weekend:
-
Cograts!! That sounds like it was a lot of hard work!
-
I think I kind of know what you mean. There is definatley that easy path in life, like staying at the same job, or living where you do just because that is what you have always done. It is easy and comfortable. Then there is the hard path in life where you really have to work at it and make some hard decisions. I'm heading down the hard path right now, but hoping all of my decisions payoff. It seems like the easy way isn't always the happy path.
-
oh boy!! Well that sounds about right.
-
Well I hope they are representing Michigan proud and are up to nothing but trouble
-
K. If so, pass the info I PM'd you to Chrissay. She said she knows of 4 others who are looking as well.
-
I will vote ONLY if you get your ass to the DZ and make a jump! Where've ya been?? And don't give me that blah blah school stuff.

:2:0 1 fall from my bike. Ouch. Fortunately only bumps and bruises 2 tandem videos. Had some friends come out from work so I videoed a couple of their tandems. And my wonderful boyfriend comp'd one also for one of them. They had a lot of fun so it was great to be able to share that with them. We were able to get some loads up this weekend before some weather moved in. Also got to hang out with alanab and jer. It was to great to see you guys, hopefully we see you again soon!
-
Wishing you a speedy recovery big Jon! My dad had that same surgery quite a few years ago and it was the best thing he ever did. We hope to see you back at the dz soon. Get well!

Will do. If I had more time to micro-manage their processes maybe I would have had my camera back by now Well, here is my update. I sent my camera to the Laredo center I think back in Feb. They had it about a week and hadn't heard anything so I called them. Apparently they were waiting for my payment information. Well first of all, I had written them a letter stating what the situation was and that I was NOT paying for the repairs per a pre-arranged agreement. And I even included what account number they were suppose to charge it to. I also included my event number which apparently they missed that one too. Well that had it back to me in about a week. So far so good with the camera. I have only put about 20 jumps on it. But now that I have seen the quality of the PC 1000, I may have to ditch my 105 and buy the 1000. I hate to give Sony anymore of my money , buy damn the PC 1000 is the bomb! I just need to find a good deal on one.

Yes he is and so knowledgeable about so many things. Matt is down here too (and nursing a dislocated shoulder). Those two together are pretty funny. And, they let me know that my relatives in Albion don't live too far from the dz. Hmmm...I could get bonus points with Grandma AND go up and have a fun time at a new dz! hmm...sounds like a start of a plan to me! Just know that you have a place to stay at the dz and a ride anywhere if you need it! Tell Cliff and Matt I say hello!!
-
Happy Birthday Judit! Much love and birthday wishes to you. I hope you enjoyed your birthday video!
-
I know of at least 4 people at my dz who are looking for one. Either a bat rak or half rak. I have a half rak and love it!

I use to work in HR and administered Health Care Benefits. As far as I remember, and double check this with your HR dept!!! But you have the right to elect COBRA coverage 60 days after your end date with your company. So, you can hold off on electing now, but in the event you do get seriously injured and need insurance, you can go back and elect the coverage as long as you are within your 60 days. You will have to go back and pay the premium from the time you lost coverage, but in some situations, this can be cheaper than having no insurance. And if you are concerned about if you do get banged up and the new insurance won't cover you due to a pre-existing injury. That only applies if you have a break in coverage of more than 60 days. And do check the Summary Plan Document of your plan, some plans will exclude hazardous activities such as skydiving, scuba, spelunking.... I hope this helps!
