  1. July 18-21 http://www.artfair.org/ ... or ... you could come hang out for our Summer Kickoff Jam June 22-24th. And we are going to have a TeamONE invasion, I believe sometime in August as well. Or just come hang out on a normal weekend what -evah, it don't matter, no matter what it will be a good time!
  2. That would be AWESOME! We all haven't seen you in awhile. You should head up during the Ann Arbor Art Fair and then hit the dz for a few days
  3. I found that the actual piercing did not really hurt, but the healing process was painful! Mine had a tendacy to catch on the waist band of my pants, that hurt! But once I figured out what pants were good to wear and which were not, it made the healing process way easier.
  4. Just wondering if anyone has red eye's email address or if you are reading the forums, will you email it to me? I switched phones and wasn't able to get your info off of my old phone. My email is chrissy@gd-2.com thanks much! Chrissy
  5. I marked mine to private when I started job searching.
  6. Nope! Just a small perk for working for a bank!
  7. Congrats on the new puppy, what a cutie! We own a Havanese which is a member of the Bichon family of dogs. More info about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havanese Everything they say about their temperament is totally true too. He is a sturdy little clever dog! I have attached a pic of him playing in the snow. Enjoy your new companion!
  8. Sweet! I'll have to check those out, we got to see then last year in Wisconsin at Summerfest. Great show!
  9. I don't totally agree with you here. It is better to dress for success than fly an inefficient position just to keep up with people. For example, when I fly in a baggy suit, I have to stand to keep up with sitflyers, and flying around in a stand I think is a little bit more limiting then flying in a sit. Just like when doing RW, I can fly without wearing weights, but I don't fly as well without them. As far as suit choice, I just bought a suit from www.liquidskysports.com I have it very fitted with no drag on the arms (personally I don't like drag on my arms) and a little drag on the legs. I have spandex in the inseam of the arms and legs which makes the tighter fitting suit super comfy.

It's a win, win situation. Buy the bulk ziplock freezer baggies there too. No freezer burn for your chicken Yep, that is what we do! And we wrap everything in wax paper (from sam's club of course!) first to also help prevent freezer burn.

I like it. Me and my SO shop there and it works out for us. Any food that we do end up buying in bulk we separate into smaller portions right away and freeze the rest. It works out really well for us especially since we don't eat out anymore and cook at home so we end up eating everything we buy. We buy tp, garbage bags and such too and just fill a closet with them
  12. Congrats Carl!! I am sooo happy for you! That is awesome that you will be in Colorado, I know how much you loved it there, we will miss you in Michigan
  13. Whohoooo!! way to go Jess, nice job!!!
  14. I am the one just exiting. What a FuN jump!! Picture credit goes to TimDave.
  15. So finally I have pics of my suits! I was hoping to be able to post them, 'in action', but now that winter has arrived...I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. I absolutely love my new suits, both the freefly suit and swoop shorts were a custom design by julio. The customer service was fabulous, julio was great about keeping in contact with me and making sure he knew what type of suit I was looking for to make it absolutely perfect. I would recommend this company 100%+++
  16. Good for you! You are inspiring me to work even harder in my classes for next semester.
  17. Give us a call at Tecumseh if you will be in town! We plan to be jumping on the weekends as long as the weather is 'close' to being reasonable. The number to the dz is 517-423-7720.
  18. ditto on all of that! I wish I had some photos to post of my suits from him.
  19. Detroit is not all too bad. It has its bad spots like any other city but also has some positives to it. You just need to be heads up in the shady areas or avoid them all together. Since you are in the medical profession, I would imagine that Michigan would be an ideal place for you to go, we have quite a few great hospitals. Now if you were coming here to work for one of the 'Big 3', you might want to rethink that choice Economy is down right now in Michigan, but we do have some industries looking to make it their home, we just had a google satellite office open up in Ann Arbor so hopefully we have hit the bottom of the valley and can start going back up. Detroit offers great sporting events, concerts, Auto show, casinos, museums, Skydive Tecumseh is only like 45 minutes away . Yes the winters kind of suck, but at least you can head up north and do a little skiing
  20. :1:0 1 cold and sleety jump at our end of the year party for Skydive Tecumseh. The filmfest was fantastic this year, there is such an incredible amount of editing talent at the dz! It was a great party, with the pictures to prove it.
  21. She's a hottie, you bringing her to the end of the year party?!
  22. Last year I started to experience some shoulder discomfort towards the end of the season. I could feel my shoulders grating when they rotated and they would pop and crack. I dismissed it for awhile, but then one day I was going to flare and it got to this wierd point where my shoulder felt like it was going to pop right out of the socket. Freaked me out a little because I didn't want that to happen at pull time! I went to an orthopedic surgeon and they diagnosed me with bilateral shoulder instability. [my doctor was quite entertained at how far my shoulders would rotate, apparently they go 90 degrees more than the average joe] Also my shoulder joints are loose so they prescribed PT to strenghten the muscles around my shoulders. Luckily it wasn't bad enough for surgery. The PT helped a lot, I of course have been slacking on keeping up my exercises. I still feel some of the discomfort after a long weekend of jumping or if I end up doing a lot of headup standing jumps. So I really try to avoid jumps like that at this point.
  23. yay! cocheese, i didn't know you were coming out. sweet! cya there.
