JUne 11th - Skydive Tecumseh 4-Way Scrambles
Chrissay replied to martymac11's topic in Events & Places to Jump
This is such a great event. I had so much fun last year and the trophies are really nice. This is a great opportunity to jump with people you don't normally jump with and do some fun, but sometimes 'challenging' skydives. We hope to see ya all this weekend. Skydive Tecumseh -

Ah yes, Brian Standard Time? -
Funny, I have a boobie popping problem in togas too. Well hopefully this year it doesn't rain on toga night, I could barely breathe with all of those people in the hellfish tent!

ah YES, that is the missing link. Thanks, that is what I was looking for

Alrighty it is a manfrotto 3270. I am finding the top of it, but cannot find the bottom part with the lever on it....
-
I looked there already and didn't see the model I need. I searched for both manfrotto and mounting plate.
-
I am looking for a manfrotto..not sure what the model number is. But my local camera shop has been waiting on their shipment for like 3 weeks now and I am tired of waiting. Is there a place online I can order one? thanks

Brian Germain Canopy Course June 3-5th--Skydive Tecumseh--
Chrissay replied to Chrissay's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Thank you to Brian and to all of those who participated in the course this year! It is safe to say that everyone walked away with an enormous amount of new knowledge and more confidence in their canopy skills. For me this class came at a perfect time because I am working on 'higher speed approaches' and it was so great to get a better understanding of what my wing does under many different circumstances. Also I received some wonderful tips on my approaches. It was also great to have Brian out there videoing our landings and getting a thorough debrief on everyones jump. I learned a lot from what other people were doing too. So if you have the chance to take his course...TAKE IT!! -

What do you use to play tapes in editing station?
Chrissay replied to StevePhelps's topic in Photography and Video
We bought a couple of HC-40's to do the job. That way if any of our camera people are desperate for a camera, they could use one of those as well. At some point I would like to get a mini-DV player to do the job. I believe the ones we looked at were pretty expensive though. -

Brian Germain Canopy Course June 3-5th--Skydive Tecumseh--
Chrissay replied to Chrissay's topic in Events & Places to Jump
I am really looking forward to this course. Last year I wasn't able to make the course because I had to work at the DZ all weekend. We have people signed up right now who have 50 jumps, a couple hundred jumps and a few thousand and has been swooping for years. Everyone can learn a lot from his course. Brian is an absolutely amazing teacher. I was talking to him on the phone last night to confirm the plans for the weekend and in our 20 minute phone coversation I learned like 3 new things about my canopy. Amazing! -
We have some around at our dz, usually about once a weekend they get brought out. I haven't hookahed in awhile because I get a hookahover, but I like strawberry and apple. yummy
