    :10: A very beautiful weekend, I worked most of the it so didn't get a lot of jumps in though. 1 jump from a fixed object--first night jump Also finished up my static line rating this weekend, got to throw out my first real static line. No students yet though. Got to demo a Katana 89--waaayy fun! Also did a FF/RW jump. Exited headdown in our bootie suits--HA, that was interesting! Then worked on fall rate changes to prepare for the AFF course. Overall, a GREAT weekend!!

    hey girly, sorry i can't make it to ATL with the rest of the Michigan crew. You guys will be in my thoughts all weekend and always. We will be sure to do a tracking dive at Tecumseh on Saturday in memory of all who have passed.

    :6: Only got 6 in this weekend even though it was so beautiful out all weekend. Had to work at the dz most the weekend. Got some great AFF practice jumps in, I am preparing for the course which is at the end of this month. Our cessna pilot made a tandem on Sunday so I went out and lurked that too, that was a lot of fun!! Also did some hop and pops and high alititude pulls to try out Katana 97 demo. Beer owed for first jump on that. I am lovin it! Hellfish boogie was everything I thought it would be and more, a gold funnelfish was even awarded this weekend, go Adam! edited to add: doh! How could I forget, hung out with Ladyskydiver and met Chile. What a fun weekend!

    Do both! That is what I did last year. The last weekend at SummerFest and the first weekend of Rantoul overlap. Rantoul I believe is only about a couple hour drive from Chicago. I absolutely loved SummerFest, great jumps, safe atmosphere and great people. I like Rantoul to see people I only get to see once a year, but really don't like it for the jumping aspect due to safety issues. But Rantoul does have a lot of great speciality aircraft. Last year I made a bunch of jumps at SummerFest and only a few at Rantoul and hung out the rest of the time. Summerfest July 30-Aug 7 Rantoul Aug 5-14

    That reminds of another one...and hmm...my boyfriend was involved in this one too. It was someone's 1000 jump, it was a little crappy out so they were just going to jump from the 182 not from full altitude. So they are all climbed out of the door, someone gives the count, and only Curtis (jump #1000) left, the rest stayed on the step.

    Last weekend my very own boyfriend got me pretty good. There was a group of us doing like a 6 way freefly, he was the next group. So my group is in the door getting all set up and I hear the ready set go. Some of us go and some don't, it was a little zoo-y.

    It was a great weekend wasn't it! I can't wait until we get the photos up, Sporto took a lot of great shots. I had a blast on our hd/sit exit jump cocheese, I wish I had a camera for that jump because a lot of great 'geeking' was going on. And you thought it wasn't going to work! I had some great jumps this weekend, I swear TJ can make magic happen.

    Thanks to everyone for a GREAT weekend! We finally had a nice weather weekend in Michigan...although it was definately a HOT weekend. I hope to post some pics soon, there were a lot of really cool skydives this weekend. Thank you TJ for the great skydives and great vibes! It was great to meet a lot of new faces and see some old friends too, we had people travel from OH, IN, FL, DC and had some visitors from the neighboring Michigan dropzones, thanks for your support!
