No, I was running with everything else closed. I kept getting "unspecified recorder error". I tried at as slow as 8X but it still won't go. It only seems to be audio CD's, ISO still works fine.

CD-RW meaning CD-Ruiner/Wrecker. Put blank CD in, click "Write", and a few minutes later your CD pops out and is now trash. Cool huh? Oh yeah, thanks for all the suggestions in my 80's music post, despite the fact that all the shit I downloaded (on dial-up)is now USELESS

It's been awhile since of looked but I'm pretty sure that's for the whole enchillada - envelope, gondola, burners, instruments, whatever. And I thought the envelopes lasted longer than that unless they were used a lot. Then again, I can't say I'm sure what I'm talking about.

Everybody - here's the deal: I've been struck by a very bizarre coincidence. Yes, I've been on Paxil, for awhile, like I said. Also, I've been reading a particular book, "The Pursuit of Oblivion." It's about the history of drugs. I read about how cocaine, LSD, herion, you name it, were in the past used widely as theraputic drugs just like the many anti-depressants, etc. we have now. Now add to that my experience of withdrawal while reading the last pages of that book and finding my experiences WAY too familiar - like those that I had just read about that became outlawed and associated with crime, political corruption, assinine "rhetoric"in international relations, Doctors, Psychiatrists, etc. that don't have a clue, blah blah. Um, MAJOR MINDFUCK! Anybody want a beer?

I'm not saying you're wrong at all. What I will say is that you've never met a more stubborn sumbitch as I am. My prescription bottle is in the dumpster. I have no med. insurance to pay for a new one anyway. I'll deal with it. So far I'm just really lightheaded, shaky, and I can't sleep. And once in a while my legs or arms do weird jerky motions. Nobody ever died from that did they? The real intention of my original post was just "hey, be careful with that shit." I don't take many things in life seriously, but drug withdrawal, as of recently, is one thing that I now know isn't a joke. Even if the drug is "legal."

That sums up most of what I've recently learned. I still don't like it. I ain't taking one more goddamn molecule of that shit. I'm gonna sit here and drink beer until I pass out. I know how to get rid of hangovers. Any body reading this forum - If you're suffuring from anxiety or depression, get help of course, but DON'T TAKE PAXIL!! I'm shaking like a mofo as I type this. Not cool.

Glad I'm not the only one Seriously, I think the saddest thing is that there will never EVER be a replacement for Mr. Rogers, for reasons any intelligent person will know. As much as I can't stand TV now, he was certainly in a league of his own. I guess I never realized how fortunate, until now, I was to be glued to the set watching him when I was just a little carpet crawler.

I voted to quit and go skydiving, since that's what I'm attempting to do. Maybe you should ask me again a few months from now and see if I'm doing okay or if I'm living in cardboard box

I've been taking the drug Paxil for awhile for anxiety. It's become so routine that I really don't even think about it. It was get up, take shower, pop pill, eat breakfast, yadda yadda. My routine is now changing quite a bit (quit job, moving across country, etc.) and along with that I figured I really don't need this Paxil shit anymore, so I stopped taking it. That was a couple days ago, and in the time since I started feeling really light headed and was getting these weird ass muscle spasms or something. So of course the thought popped into my head - withdrawal. Nobody ever mentioned JACK SHIT about that, but I just did a Google search. Go ahead, try searching for "paxil withdrawal" and take a look around. As it turns out I'm about to go completely mad. Might as well have been on fucking heroin. Try this one. Click on "voices." In the middle of a major life change, no less. Fucking wonderful.
