The town of Palm Beach (the rich-people infested, pretentious island east of West Palm Beach, home of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club, and Rod Stewart, among others) put an ad in our paper a few months ago. It was a legal ad giving public notice of a town council vote on a BB-GUN BAN for the town. I was flabbergasted (though not affected, since I live in WPB). Why the f*ck would they ban BBguns? Are the octogenarian millionaires causing trouble with them?! Then it took a few days, but I finally realized what must have spurred the idiot town fathers to write a BB gun ban. I remembered that I had read in the paper that some crotchety old f*ck who lived on the island had been shooting people's cats when they strayed onto his yard. There was nothing they could do about him doing this, apparently. So the idiot town fathers wrote a law forbidding EVERYONE from using BB guns within the town, just to provide a means of stopping this evil prick from shooting cats vindictively. Isn't that wonderful? -Jeffrey Not to be even more jaded but it probably had more to do with the property damage from the stray bb's that hit other things like cars and houses... loss of $$$ hurting people like that much, much more than the death of cats would... just a little cynical consideration.

no, no... how do know things until they happen- sure you love your cats a lot. Cats are smart but they will do some dumb_ss things sometimes-clueless why??!!! Like why do they want to drink antifreeze when it can kill them?

They have an incredibly sensitive sense of smell! It probably feels to them like you've rubbed the stuff inside their little noses or something. Also, the sense of smell is very closely tied to sense of taste and it just freaks them out.

Sit down, have a cold beer. (Sending neck massage w/ no unnecessary chatter whatsoever.)

What if your significant other screwed around?

specials once in awhile too, lol -
Would you screw someone who you knew had an STD?
lightningbugirl replied to jkwon's topic in The Bonfire
Any man I live with can jolly well have the _hitter to themselves, once you have children the boundaries are going to be crossed soon enough, I want to seem as sexy as possible for as long as possible. Boundaries get crossed enough as it is in skydiving and we don't even notice. I'd sooner pee in front of another jumper if need be (say drunk or in a hurry to jump) than a lover unless the lover was a jumper then what the _ell's the difference cause chances are he's already seen me do some pretty dumb_ss things. I said no, won't risk disease. Skydiving and flying is enough of a risk. Risking an STD is just crazy talk. -
Ladies, ever reach back to locate pull and get a BIG smile from the male jumper sitting behind you? Whoops!

Indoor vs. Outdoor tunnel time
lightningbugirl replied to lightningbugirl's topic in Safety and Training
I don't have previous tunnel time & haven't kept current because of health. Feel great now but no longer live in Calif. in the cold now. I want to work on some skills before I actually go up again, still have low jump #'s. I want the best place to retrain. It sounds as if you sway toward the indoors for this. I don't really understand the mechanics of it all and online it isn't really explained, know where I could get more info.? -

Which do you feel is better? What are your reasons why? -
Whats Better ---> Lurking or Postwhoring?
lightningbugirl replied to xsynergist's topic in The Bonfire
Rev, Yes I pulled and did everything A-ok, landed fine too. Only thing is that my instructor had to shove me out the door, I froze for a sec. Good thing too, it was TERRIFIC! -

Rev, did the jump- was awesome! 2nd tomorrow; hell yeah.. What kind of scotch evaporates? Still be sticky, vodka evaporates- gin too. Prefer an aged single malt myself though. -Gwen -
Thanks, I get nervous until I'm out of the plane. It'll be tomorrow soon enough!

Thanks for the pep talk, really appreciate it and no to the naked pic, however, flattered-though I could have like 3 heads etc... Not very choosy .?
