I am relatively new to the sport.....just over two years, but I was wondering lately, what's the highest jump number you've ever heard a person had??? I am smart enought not to fully trust the young kid who's telling me he has a over a thousand.... but these old timers that tell me they gave up counting after a few grand got me wondering just what is a believable number. any help out there guys and gals??? I just am................

you need to narrow down your question... why do we do what we do?.... because we can, our thoughts are very basic. if it hurts, we avoid it, unless it sounded fun at the time. If its pleasurable, we want to do it (sex, jump, watch tv) as often as we can. if it involvles work, we do it only if it doesn't involve avioding pleasure. our thoughts are at the here and now, little thought about the future. I just am................

thinking back on it, you ever get to the ground and say...........damn I should have stayed in the plane? didn't know it at the time (first tandem ever), but it was a misting rain, at altitude, could kinda see the ground, and landed way out........... looking back at it, damn, should have stayed in the plane. If it is a fresh flare up, 1-2 days of bed rest max. Follow up with ibuprofen 600 mg three times a day for a week, and then light stretching/excercise such as walking, and flexion and extension excercises for the back. If persists greater then 3 weeks, seek family doc, you may benifit from a steriod taper. Just my opinion............ I just am................

I just simply view his donation as insincere and a means to appease the american public. I have said over and over again that I would tend to believe that if there was no media reports of donations being made by celebrities then he probably would not have donated a dime. Once again, my opinion. He is worth millions, and has access to millions. He is our commander in chief. He is the leader of the free world. 10K is paltry in my mind considering the source that it came from. you know funks, I have finally come to the conclusion that you are deeply bothered by this. I think you should vent your anger and frustration... not to us, but to our commander in cheif. Perhaps it is kind of comical to see bushs donation of 10K along side of Sandra Bullocks 1million, Gates foundations 3 million, NBA players contributions that will be hundreds of thousands, The president officially only makes ~300 G a year. 10G is more then most will give. Pro ball players.... Jeter NY yankees makes 10 mill a year, and we haven't heard what he donated??? And unfortunately, yes these people must declare what they donate otherwise they will get screwed by tax law. Now that I am thinking about it, the damn Yankee's (the "best" baseball team in history), why haven't they donated any money......... oh, right, they need it to buy another winning team... back on path, the point should not be who can donate the most money, but what can we do to help. As president, he has ordered our armed forces to assist with supplies/rescue........that in itself is greater then any monitary amount one person can donate. I just am................

The key thing here is choices... and you have them. Anyone here is likely a skidiver, and that means you payed out minimum 3-5 grand all said and done. If you say that you don't have health care, I ask, why did you CHOOSE skidiving over your own health? Other choices, just about any young adult can join the service and get a quality education and health care at the governments expense. You may CHOOSE not to join, but the choice is there to be made......... I just am................

I sat here and read most of these comments on health care. I hear alot of whinning about no access, and money misallocated. It seems alot of people are point at everyone but themselves. This nation is on a whole obese, lazy and chronic tobacco abusers (and some druggies as well). If they stopped smoking, excerised, and maybe WORKED (yes, even at minimum wage) then alot of the health problems they whim about wouldn't have ever occured. The two biggest health care problems are 80% preventable. Diabetes ---- 80% diet controlled. Heart disease---diet controlled with exercise. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease---STOP SMOKING!!!!! I just am................

Uh...hang on a minute. I just threw up in my mouth a little. -And then you realize which people got married for the tax breaks... Or maybe the first post was fishing...for...attention. other pressures you forgot about forgetting to have fun jumping out of a plane and knowing you have kids (what if something goes wrong) global warming the war in iraq the mortgage payment/rent payment the list goes on and on pressure is only a state of mind, and your preoccupation with it..... for some pressure makes them shine, for others they shrivel up and wither....married or not I just am................
