Which is how I use mine! (but I need to re-lose the weight I lost from the last winter for it to be real effective again) Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I concur with Rob on two piece suits. You can get the set up he mentioned with most Suit builders, I happen to have a set up 90% of what he describes from Bev Suits, as does most of the staff at the DZ I jump at the most. Loose fitted two piece suits seem to work the best for most of the year. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

The swing up is the better deal. Doesn't take up any head room (Andrew is taller than you or I). You can travel with it, much quieter, and it seals better in rain than the lexan idea. With a "catch it wont bounce up and down on rigs in a climb out. But extra precaution needs to be taken so as to get a design that wont open containers if some one is NOT paying attention on the climb out. But Yeah I know it is not as cool like a roll up lexan door. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

"Entertainment Friday evening come prepared to rock the night away with ZZ Top. We will have Hip Kity playing from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and Jimmies Chicken Shack performing Saturday evening after the fireworks. From 8:15pm to 8:45pm we have am awesome areobatic display, at 9:00pm Team Fastrax fireworks aerial display and a fireworks show you will talk about until next year. A great DJ is on site Friday and Sunday spinning the tunes. Sunday evening we have the only authorized AC/DC Tribute Band. Jimmies Chicken Shack will be creating a video around skydiving while they are at the boogie. " An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

No the e-mail says ZZ Top Friday Evening. Then Hip Kitty and Jimmies Chicken Shack Saturday and an AC/DC Tribute Band Sunday. It does sound like the registration is worth the entertainment alone this year. But then the Skydives will be awesome too! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Used from a Rigger at the DZ I was jumping at at the time. I didn't buy a New Rig till my 4th. I still have it and it has the reserve I need and the ability to go up and down in size with the mains I jump. I would go used till you've settled into the part of this sport that you like the most and then get a rig and canopy set up that supports that. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Except the bases they may be running may be in a hostile environment. They do not stay on US soil the whole time they serve (not normally). They go on deployments, they go on convoys and they get blown up in them too. Combat Troops need Combat Support and Combat Service Support to do their jobs, which is why they are assigned in Combat units too. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Just a worn rubber band releasing the slack a smidgen prior to the other could cause this too. (assuming a brake line s stow at the tail) We started replacing the rubber bands at the same time on our canopies set up like this and things got a lot better. All the reason needed to "teach" rather than do "rides".

And of course as a T-I in the US there is no reason not to follow the FAR's and BSR's (altimeter use). Teach, it is what your rating says you do any way. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
Ya ol' Bastard! Enough of the teasing! Matt P.S. Good job as always! I guess I had the amount of years wrong I thought it was 24. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

becoming an AFF instructor from scratch. need info
matthewcline replied to jake95's topic in Safety and Training
Short answer is "No" to Skydiving and Rigging Education paid by the GI Bill. There are no Recognized nor accredited Rigging or Skydiving Instructor Courses in the US. I also have been told by the VA that the NZ school is not to the VA's Standard either. It will be an out of pocket expense just like a Private Pilots License. He got a pretty decent amount of votes for a guy who is not all there. it would appear that in this Primary a lot of "D" registered folk voted for him. I guess it would then make a walk in the park vote for the Democrats in the General Election. I know of several who did just that. But alas, he didn't make it. We seem to have a odd set up going on this year here in TN. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
