where did u find this vista optimizer... i looked in the system tools folder and didnt see it would like to run that on my new laptop also.. seems to be slowingdown some what ... I have an assortment of mills and lathes ...manual and cnc ones..... can do just about anything within reason.... side jobs aka goverment jobs at work are the only thing that keeps me sane.... production machining is getting old and boring...to many years doing it... my problem..... I deleted my poker stars program from the lap top.. now the shortcut on the desktop wont delete... cannot find this item this is no longer located in c:\users\public desktop. verify the items location and try again. poker stars type:shortcut size"863 bytes date modified:5/29/2008 6:57 pm Now the second short cut that i cant get rid of is located .....when I hit the key with the windows symbol a window opens that gives me access to all programs and others with short cuts above the all programs button.... there is another poker stars short cut there... I need to get rid of this on also... Now the biggest reason is it's the girlfriends laptop . Hey all.... I just installed i tunes and imported a few cd's... How can I control things..... first cd kept all the songs together, the next 2 cd's the songs are all over the place.... so when I view as album view I have multiply albums with only a few songs in it... So what I'm hoping for learn is how to import where I can name the folder myself with cd name and all the songs for that cd will get ripped into that folder.... your best bet is acquire the #'s of the boarder's u will be crossing and ask the questions there.... or like someone suggested...ask at the american boarder before u cross... Hey Bill: uninstalled all the junk last night..... installed ccleaner also have avg installed along with spybot sd..... defradg doesn't wanna work for some reason....just hangs at 1%.....0% all night long.... this thing hasn't been re-formatted since 2000.... where am I finding these preferances....??? this computer is ancient...p3 550 with a huge 256 ram wwith a 10 and 5 gig hard-drive.... will firefox even run on it.... for some reason everything has slowed down lately...
