Hey Phree... THat lens is being sold by someone local for 200 cdn and comes with a filter and lens hood.... Thought it might be a good enough lens for me and girlfriend to learn with.... I just purchased an XSI earlier this summer. .girlfriend always complains that we need more zoom.... I just did a bit of reading on that lens u suggested.. sounds nice... any idea where to find a used one at a reasonable price.. I really don't say much on here....but dude you should sit back and listen to yourself...if you have done tonnes of reading on this forum ( photograghy and video ) it doesn't take much to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't.. I have a question for the more noligable camera people... I'm looking at a used EF 75-300 ultrasonic USM lens. Mother Goose....nice purchase...I aslo just purchased a brand new HC5 off ebay for $380 US.. bye the time I got it to Northern Ontario it cost me just under $500 cdn...damn exchange rate ... Anyways I just purchased a brand new FF3 for my new HC5.. helmet should be here in about 2 or so more weeks.... If you look on the next page there is a post about a new 2k FF3 helmet for an HC5.. theres pics there aslo... When u decide to purchase an FF3 or something else see BOWEN on these forums... great guy to deal with and very prompt... I'm getting an FF3 helmet......actually its ordered... after seeing the FF3 with the hc5 mounted a few posts down...i'm thinking get rid of the pc and get myself an hc5... ebay is showing $800 + for a pc1000 while I can get a HC5 for less than $400... im actually looking at one for less than 200 right now.. any suggestion / advice would be appreciated... its going be used for fun jumps....I'm also planning a 3 week trip to Lodi in march or april of 09 to rack up my jump numbers and experience....wanna get into tandem video next summer if things go as planned and my jump numbers go up and my experience level is acceptable.... thanks for any and all advice mike Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - "fcuk me what a ride!"

I live in canada but jump out of the states ... I'm in Mission, BC about 10 or so minutes from Skydive Abbotsford....( visiting ) I did a couple jumps there the other day...the porter only seems to go to 10,000 when doing work loads / Tandems....
