  1. I agree.... change is full of possibility and unintended consequens. [heavy sarcasm]Yeah... who needs to move forward with science. That penicillin stuff was dangerous!!! Look at where we are now, some bacteria are resistant to antibiotics - never should have even started with it. The lives saved aren't worth all the fears of MRSA. And some could include even coming down out of the tress as a bad decision....[/sarcasm]
  2. Note: For future reference, do not call the customs agent a "dosey cunt".... The "c" word is viewed a little different over here..
  3. I think the four comes from If it were 1/2^2, that would only give 1/4 not the 1/16
  4. Are you sure it's one over the square root of 5.... I've done it a couple times again... and still agree with SuperGirl that I think it's one over the fourth root of 5.
  5. OK... and with that comment, you seem so enlightened and understanding. I'm betting you have ALL the answers. Go on.... tell us your secret for being so cool.... *fake sigh and faint* You're so smart *batting eyes and fawning* Anyway... REALITY CHECK PEOPLE (Americans, Italians, British, Germans, Australians....) can be assholes. To be racist or bigoted about certain nationalities is just as "ignorant, arrogant, overly aggressive" as you decribed "over half the population" of America. I'm curious as to how you've met over half the population. OR.... are you just basing your opinion on those you met in New York or a high population density.... did you spend a bit of time in South Dakota on the PineRidge reservation to develop that opinion, or maybe down in the Ozarks? I just think your comment was foolish.

    Vasectomy?

Don't get the vasectomy or tubal if you think you might want to reverse it. These should be thought of as PERMANENT methods of sterilization. PERMANENT! NO MORE CHILDREN. NADA. ZIP. Like your sperm count should be. Reversals are expensive, generally NOT covered by insurance and they don't always work. You can, however, put some tadpoles on ice first if you think there's a long-shot chance you might just maybe change your mind. Well, ok, not YOU...him...bah Blues, Dave True.... but, you gonna keep them in your fridge or hers?

  8. The first step is admitting that one has a serious, uncontrollable problem. But... that would only be if you would consider loving you to be a problem....
  9. Kick ass!!! Makes sense, easy to follow.
  10. But how long would the O2 be sufficient? Wouldn't one want to get some breaths in there (slow, head positioned properly) just to make sure there is enough O2 cruising past the alveoli? Them grapes need their juice, right? And I suspect that compresson would be enough to clear the CO2, yes? I've got to get recertified...just don't have any time at the moment. Ciels- Michele
  11. Well... considering that, due to racial memories, the Earth sport of cricket (and the pan-dimensional sport of Brockian Ultra-Cricket) is based on the Krikkit Wars, it makes sense to me that it's the Worlds Most Dangerous Sport. (now where did that Chesterfield come from?)
  12. Ahh... but are you a fat, sweaty, toothless, jobless, benefit swindling whorebag? No... but if those your requirements, I'll see what I can do. Do you like the big pikey style earings too?
  13. "Ohhhh, I like a man in uniform....." (now... just be worried if walt posts the same thing)
  14. Similiar situation happened to me when I got sent to Ellsworth AFB. Showed up with my orders, they were confused. No BOQ (bachelor officer quarters) on base, no VOQ (visiting officer quarters) available, wouldn't give me onbase housing, TLF (temp living facilities) wouldn't take pets (so had to find kennels) and pay $20/day and then $25/day for TLF.... I was NOT amused. $45/day out of my pocket for the week plus it took them to figure out the orders. (and this was before ever even getting a paycheck from the military)
  15. Wisconsinites LOVE deer.
  16. WOOO HOOOOOO! Genetics is good! (I hate having to decide to take anti-malarial meds when I go on some of the medical mission... this would make that decision so much easier!!)
  17. Maybe he just liked riding your ass...

    SUSHI!!!!!

YUMMMM!!!!! (I always feel a little bad when telling pregnant women that they shouldn't eat steak tartare, sushi, or sashimi... cuz I just feel the pain of that restriction!)
  21. You're welcome! (and I was trying to be cute with the teeth in that area comment....)
  22. You forgot - don't tug on Supermans cape.
  23. Hey... GYNECOLOGIST! If I start seeing white teeth in my *cough* area of expertise, I get worried (and you would too!!!) But - I looked some things up ... just for you... This study was just published in Jan 2007 and might be why she is desiring to go fluroide free. It revealed a very rare case of skeletal fluorosis. But, fluroide treatments do help prevent dental caries and decay. So, I would still recommend that you chat with your dentist on those recommendations.
  24. Thank you for that respect to those no longer with us.
  25. Really, it is all up to you and no need to provide statistics. Hell, my mom has complained about me riding since I was 5 years old. She blames my father. She has said that she feels better when I am skydiving then when I ride. Personally, I don't give a damn how she or anyone else feels. It's my life and no one elses. I do as I please. If it is statistics that you want to show, show them, you might want to rethink doing that as statistics can be somewhat scary to a non-riding person. http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov/ 2004 there were 4008 motorcycle fatalies compared to near 7000 deaths due Dr. handwriting for prescriptions. Statisticly you are safer riding a bike than going to the Dr. Not to send this to SC - but "statistics" like that are why statisticians have a bad name. 7000deaths/2.3 Billion scripts written total - death rate = 1.23 x10-15. Motorcycles 4000 deaths/ 5.3 million registered vehicles = 7.54 x 10 -4. Skydiving - Accident statistics as provided by United States Parachute Association (USPA) 2005, 27 fatalities / 2.2 million skydives = 1.22 x 10-5. So... with looking at EQUAL ratios - motorcycles are the most dangerous.... but he does have a good point with the "get some balls" type attitude, kinda... but poor presentation. Life is meaningful to different people in different ways, you need to explain to those near you that to truly be "living" you find enjoyment in "motorcycles" or "Skydiving" or whatever your hobbies truly are. Why live a life in safety if it's not the life you want to live?
