*sigh*..... Ok... I will be neighborly and offer you a cuppa tea (with sugar). Just don't be taking away my stuffs.
-
pot.... kettle..... two sugars please
-
pot.... kettle..... edit to add: besides, if I really wanted to "rant", I would have posted something more like this. But, this was just kind of a "They're mine." type post and just verbalizing that I would need a better reason than you not liking them. Maybe I don't like your belt. Or VW bugs should be banned....

Yes I did... but am I not allowed to answer the original question?

"Scared of"? Nothing. But... why would I WANT to give up my firearms? Explain to me why. They are my property. Some of my collection were owned by my father, and his father before him. Some of them are just beautiful pieces of machinery. Some of them, I just like. Your qestion honestly doesn't make sense to me. Should I also give up my swords, my knives, because they could be considered weapons? Or my vehicles, and my alcohol because harm can come to be with ownership of those? Or even my books, my paintings, my artwork, because it might inspire me to think or act different from you? What is the limit of what I should give up just because YOU don't like me owning it? Luckily... I don't have to worry about what you do or do not like. I can own an M24 or a 1911. I can have claymores (the sword, not the land mine) hanging on my walls. I can read about personal rights and have an opinion on personal responsibility. I can understand that, just as you have a freedom to feel the way you do, I have the same freedom to feel the way I do. "Scared of"? Not a damn thing. What are you so scared about?

How about write a story? Or get out old albums and sing at the top of your voice? Or clean? Or give yourself a day of just relaxing and doing girlie stuffs (nails, facial, ect)

This whole event is terribly sad. So many futures ended..... I don't know if the shooters suicide is good for the situation (wont be drug out in long court cases) or bad (no answer to the "why") So sad.

Got the SanteFe here. Really like it. Very comfortable for long drives, able to transport what we need it to do, a nice SUV. I also have a Tiburon (REALLY, REALLY LIKE it!!) Hyundai's have always been good to me. Lower cost, good milage, great service....

Nice car! Don't listen to those that feel that they need a certain type of car or need to spend a certain amount to compensate... Hyundai's are reliable, look sharp and get the job done. What more do you really need in a car? -
I like the green tea ones.

My physical therapist made me feel GREAT about the rapid progress that I'm making (and I was getting a bit discourged this past weekend with how slow and restricted I felt) And she told me to be nicer to myself and not to expect myself to heal faster than it naturally does..... One of my partners offered to take my call tonight (cuz I'm taking the six weeks of call in a two week period - and he think that's silly and that I shouldn't have to "make up" the call cuz I was recovering and non weight bearing... me, I was just trying to pull my weight... ) Got my hair done and a pedicure and nice "chick" things that I normally don't do, but just felt good.

Ummmm... you haven't been to speakers corner yet, have you? (and ftr, I'm not a "liberal" - Just cuz I prefer to live in an anarco-sydicalist commune. We take it in turns to be a sort of executive officer for the week but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs but by a two thirds majority in the case of... ) Actually more of a Libertarian (which is kinda like a librarian with the cute little glasses and quiet and gentle persona)

Awww... see, there's the LOVE!!! Now... where's that desk!

I see what you mean and I don't feel like "crap" when these threads come up, but it does make me feel.... annoyed. There's so much more to who I am than just whether I have a pretty face or a petite waist and threads like this just kinda minimize those very important aspects of who I would like to be seen as. Would I like to see my name on a list like this? ok, it might be flattering and for a vain moment I might be pleased, but really that's not the attention that I would want. And knowing Rosa... yes, she is beautiful.... but she is also a LOT more than just a cute chick that skydives. She's caring and kind and smart.... but these threads just focus on her physical appearance and I think that is a little demeaning. edit: mabybe demeaning is harsh... how about superficial. Do I feel bad not seeing my name listed? Hell no. Sometimes I even posts rather unattractive pictures just to take attention off the physical. and to WI-Fly... dude.... ... you got to work on a better pickup line than that.

Q: What's the difference between a bunny and a lumberjack? A: One chews and hops, the other hews and chops. EDIT to add: Q: How do you catch a very unique bunny? A: Unique up on it!

I'm sorry, but... EEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUWWWWEEEEEEEEE!!!! Awww come on, where's your sense of adventure? Oh, and they aren't for me....honest! See.... you scare off all the guys with comments like that. Just leaves you with the brave and daring women. That might be your "problem".... or maybe their "problem"?

Henri Bendel candles smell GREAT when they're buring, but the really good thing is that even just sitting by the bedside, you can smell it. Relaxing and nice. Excellent candles!!

anyone else 'lean forward' while driving to see better up ahead?
kbordson replied to loumeinhart's topic in The Bonfire
It may not help you see yards ahead, but it does focus your concentration and allow you to direct your attention to that task... so it kinda makes sense -
The Henri Bendel candle - Firewood smells pretty close (one of my favorite scents)
