  1. Will fit with room to spare. I currently have a 143 in my rs1 with cypress.
  2. I did the rs1 with a cypres 1
  3. I fit a 143 into a javelin rs1k. Pretty good fit too.
  4. I just got a 143 optimum in the mail today to pack into my 99 NJ. I had a 126 with cypress in there previously and wanted to up size. When i packed it i was nearly laughing at how much smaller it packed! I was easily able to fit the 143 in the bag and in all honesty i think a 160 would fit in the same space. I knew the closing loop would be to long so i took a chance and made the new loop a whole inch shorter! Perfect fit, i couldnt believe it. Well i just thought i would post this so others know what sizes fit into what.
  5. What was said about face shape is very important when it comes to contacts and what you use to keep them in during freefall. I have always used sunglasses of all types when jumping contacts and have never lost a lens but for some reason every time i try to use the goggles, again of various different types, i always lose a contact lens. I have no idea why they work for me but with 300 jumps using sunglasses and never losing a lens and about 10 with goggles and losing about that many lenses my mind is made up. Now i have PRK done on my eyes and never been happier.
  6. I had an incident about 3 months ago. i was flying a side mount with a bonehead box and about 2 seconds after exit another camera flyer and i collided facing each other. The very second we hit the 2 helmets locked together and put us in a head down position. Long story short we spent about 4k feet trying to free our selves with no luck. I could tell the other guy was about to cut his helmet so i grabed a firm hold of it. Once he was out his helmet i was almost instantly able to free it from my helmet and i held it for the rest of the jump and ended up landing with it. Once on the ground i noticed a slight dent in the red cable that holds the BH box shut. Apparently his ring site managed to find its way between the red cable and the camera lens and got stuck. Prior to the jump and long with any other camera jump i always go over every part of the helmet that could be an issue to include making sure the cable was pushed all the way in. All said and done he lost his protrack and the big pad in his BH optik.
