There's going to be a "white elephant" gift exchange. For those of you who don't know what that is: you bring a wrapped gift (in the $20 range) and put it into the pot. Everyone who brought a gift gets a number. The person with the first number chooses a gift and opens it. The second person can choose an unopened gift from the pile or can simply take the first person's gift if they really like it. This process goes on and on, with many gifts being taken away from people. (For this reason, you may not begin to consume or use your gift until the whole thing is done.) The most popular gifts get "stolen" over and over and it's a lot of fun. It can go on for hours if enough people are in on it. For anyone who shows up without a gift but would like to take part, I'm bringing 5 wrapped gifts that you can purchase for $20 each. There will also be lift tickets and skydive the farm t-shirts available for $18 each. I just put my pictures from this weekend up on the Farms's website, if anyone wants to see. How weird was that? I got to relive moments that I don't really remember from the first time around. I have to agree w/ Brian. Everything did feel good on Sat. night. This farm crew is quite entertaining. And the more we get to know one another...let's just say...the comfort zone is drawing near. There are so many ways to respond to all of that, yes something certainly did feel good that night. What a crazy evening. I'm still not fully recovered. There's a tv show called Dr. Vegas on Friday nights starring Rob Lowe. In last week's episode, he and a terminally ill cancer patient (one who actually dies while playing Blackjack the next day) go to an airport to skydive. They do not do tandems. The action jumps from the cancer guy mentioning that the "jump class" is about to begin to the two of them alone, geared up (authentic looking) on a plane (looked to me like an Otter). Another geared up guys walks back from the front of the plane area (the cockpit, but he was standing, not sitting) and tells them it's time to go. First jump, no jumpmasters, only 2 guys on a plane that can hold 24.....d'oh. Oh and of course they land okay by themselves with no radio.
