I definitely get tired before my jump and the way to altitude. I have been going out to the dz EARLY because my ride works out there and he has to been there super-early. I have been really tired lately and I don't think it's too wise to be jumping tired... but when that door opens on jump run my urge to pee and fall asleep completely disappear! Next semester when I get my own rig I'm gonna name it "Charlie" or some similar masculine name. That way, I can tell the guys that as long as I have Charlie in my life everything will be ok, and I'll say that Charlie comes home with me every night.... Good for you Beth! Practice makes perfect. I am finding that a lot of flying your body really is muscle memory, so practice, practice, practice!!! And even when you can't afford to jump, just being at the dz and learning as much as you can, asking other experienced jumpers helps you gain so much insight. To me confidence means being masculine enough to be strong and sensitive at the same time, and being confident means he is secure enough about who he is as a person, that he doesn't need a lot of money,a fancy car, or a Britney Spears-lookalike to feel like he's the luckiest guy on earth. When a guy is too afraid to approach you or show his feelings I think he suffers from a lack of confidence. Also, a sexy, confident man can avoid being arrogant by appreciating and being thankful for what he has, yet trying to become a better person at the same time. A sexy man to me is deep, masculine, appreciative, and is willing to let someone serve him and honor him when he deserves it. Just my 2 cents! Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Hey guys- I was just curious to see if there are any skydivers who have gone hunting before...and no, I am not talking about for chicks! I myself have shot 4 deer and even though I don't hunt anymore, (at least not for animals!), I want to see if any skydivers are hunters as well. My prediction is most skydivers have never intentionally killed an animal. Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

High maintenance women? What are those? ok, ok, so I won't go to the dz without any makeup, but other than that I think I'm low-maintenance... wait a sec, the guy I date has to have a nice rig... that's not being high maintenance though, that's called having standards! There are some pros to static line, my first jump wasn't a tandem, it was a static. It got me really excited about skydiving, but now that I am freefalling I want to accelerate my learning curve and I feel AFF will be better for me than going through my proficiency card doing static progression. Sarah and p.s. S/L instructors are pretty cool too, the ones I've met at least! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Yeah I am only doing 10 sec. delays according to static line progression, but since I tend to put my feet up my butt instead of sticking them out more, my AFF helped me become more aware of how I was flying my body. Arch and upper body was good, but doing 10. sec. worth of freefall really wasn't allowing me to correct my position for very long. Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

So I did my first AFF jump saturday and MAN, I learned soooooo much more jumping from 13k and actually having time to do turns and stuff, rather than having to do another 10 sec. delay, then a few 20's, then 30's, etc. coming off static line. They only offered static where I am from, but since I jump in OK at the best dropzone there ( Airtight) I know I will learn so much more quickly doing AFF jumps. Yipeeee!!! Freefall!! I'm little a giddy right now... and man, I met some cute skydivers too, but I'm not saying who! Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

I guess it depends on what you're definition of an adrenaline junkie is... I love skydiving, motorcycles, living life passionately. When I was young and had to jump off the high board at the swimming pool, I was scared, but then I got addicted to jumping off the high dive! Also, when I was camping in middle school w/ my fam, I jumped off a tressle bridge 13 times...little did I know my dad didn't think I was gonna do it, since he withheld info from me about some guy dying jumping off it.. But anyways, I think I am adventurous, maybe a little bit of an adrenaline junkie Sarah Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
