  1. Interesting...I tend to seek advice from people who are experienced and respected in the field in which I'd like advice. Seeking advice based on gender is ignorant and sheltered.*** what I meant, is that I tend to go to men more for advice on certain things, and go to my female friends more just to share and talk to. Most of my discussions with other females, I feel more open just sharing what's on my mind...with men, I usually ask for more advice, rather than just to talk their ear off. Also, some women get very jealous and don't want to share their advice. As far as skydiving advice goes, I'm a newbie and can use a lot of help from those who are qualified to help me out, whether they are male or female. Obviously, men and women ARE different and see the world differently in some ways, (DUH!),so don't try to tell me that seeking advice from men specifically is ignorant. Thank you.
  2. Hmmm, a man's forum eh? That would be interesting... Anyways, sorry that you feel that some women don't repect or want a man's opinion...that's what you WERE saying, right? I personally tend to seek out advice specifically from men, seems they are pretty good at that sort of thing ( yeah, I'm young and probably naive according to that statement, right?) What I mean is, I will usually go to guys if I need advice. On the other hand, girls are usually the ones I turn to when I don't want advice, just wanting to spill my guts out. Actually, come to think of it, I usually don't ask many people for advice, but I do need encouragement. Chachi, if someone doesn't want your advice, that doesn't mean it isn't valuable, or that you shouldn't share it...people in general like giving it more than they do receiving it, so hang in there. (I wonder if this will end up in Speaker's Corner)? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  3. well duh! Think of all the millions of dollars celebrities spend frivolously, when the money could be spent on more important things humans are cruel, rotten...but that's not the end of all things. http://www.meetyourmeat.com
  4. no, since life here on earth is just a fleeting moment, and eternal life in Heaven will be so much better.
  5. Wow, that's my kind of man! nice job making 600 jumps a yr. as college student! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  6. Um, es-squeeze me? Just because I don't particularly agree with a thing some one does, does NOT mean that I wouldn't still make an effort to get to know the person or love them. You can still love people, accept the good things about them, yet still disagree with certain things. Are you tellling me that if you're an alcoholic, it's better for me to just hate you completely, instead of still loving who you are, but hating the fact that you drink, which is hurting you? You probably don't know too many people who love others regardless of things they do. Loving a human being and wanting what's best for them as a person, is one of the best things you can do for them. I am not going to accept the bad things in someone's life though, ESPECIALLY if I know it's hurting them Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  7. I would have to say no on that one, since I know that skydiving doesn't fulfill my reason for living or the purpose of my life...it's just something fun I love to do!
  8. hhmm, something to keep in mind when I go to Rantoul... come on, what could be a better thing for a skychick to wear, than a canopy? heck, the size of a guys' rig doesn't matter anymore to me, so long as I can wear his canopy Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

  10. haha, oh,yeah... I would certainly scare the heck out of anyone with a stiletto at this point, seeing as how I've had to have my rental jumpsuit sewn in 3 different spots for 2 landings still, a stiletto shoe would be even scarier! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

  16. yeah, oops, my bad, I guess I thought that most cross-dressers were homosexual, but if ya put the two and two together,,,it does make sense. Well, I gotta start on a paper that's due tomorrow, .. so enough "speak this" stuff. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

  18. no, I don;t agree w/ my father, but why can't I just state that I dont like men cross dressing? It's my opinion, it's not bigotry. Hello, I will not turn down making friends of someone because of what they do, but because of who or what they are on the inside. well, I guess maybe you are right. We all get disgusted by different things, you most certainly do PhillyKev. Why am I wrong to point out what I am disgusted by? You can judge me anyway you want to. But, if somene is offended by women having short hair, how is that gonna affect women as a whole? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  19. I like the sound of my feet crunching snow, or the way a car sounds driving on gravel... I hate the way squishy kisses sound Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  20. Thanks for the education, see, I am open-minded to be educated...but I still have my beliefs and my personal views. (that no-ones gonna change) We are all attracted to different things... and normal?! NORMAL PEOPLE WORRY ME! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  21. whoa, slow down. that isn't really cross-dressing. And please don't get me started on feminist issues...I grew up with a domineering father who told me all women should have long hair, wear dresses all the time, basically be a slave to their husband, and hmm, what else, give em lots of children?! Sure, when I get married, I'll do all sorts of things for my hubby, (like submitting! [gasp!]) and will try to fulfill all his needs.
  22. course I wear jeans! all the time! Actually, I've been hankering for some really nice tall stilletto heels... gotta scare them shorties away! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  23. Awww, whining. That's cute. It shows. yeah, I am young, so sue me. I have a lot to learn, I can be naive, that;s why I come to SC to learn from all you pretty precious little....hmm.nevermind Oh, and did you just call me a "punk"? I resemble that remark..... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
  24. Is it so bad to be like a woman? Yes, if you weren't born one! And I am no where near being a feminist, so I might differ from you in how I view males. I'm just saying it's more common it seems for men to cross-dress Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
