Bonehead Boomerang. Sebazz had a Hurricane. The Boomerang did not really feel right. I had two big of one and I went on a headdown dive with Steve (Sudsy) and when I transitioned to a sit I almost lost it. I had to fly the whole time with one hand keeping it on my head. Then I got a smaller one but I did not like that either. It did save me on one landing though. Somebody set up a downwind approach and I could not make it back to the grass. I falred and I did not want to PLF in the desert because I did not want my rig to get dirty. I did a face plant and scratched the demoed gear. I was so dirty that I had to take a shower and wash my clothes after that landing.

I forgot my NVertigoX in Boston and Sebazz had an extra frappy. Then I demoed the Hurricane by Bonehead but that was on Monday.

Me thinks there are a couple of pictures that might not make it. Although I had absolutely nothing to do with anything. No sir e bob! Chrome behaved himself all weekend.

Great post Lisa! While I was at Perris I overheard Michele and Jack discussing this very thing and they are going to have a weekend every month where "mentors" jump with the newbies. I think a lot of dropzones should follow suit. I was luck in the fact that the dz I jumped at when I first started already had this in place. Roy Torgierson and his brother Terry are awesome for doing that!

I just can't imagine why your company would do a sales blitz in New York of all places on the 11th. That seems a little tacky to me. I would voice my opinion and maybe have a sick day which you are allowed.

Nope. I am working 7a-3pm at the desk and my assistant will do the 3p-11p. I will have my night auditor work his shift. Housekeeping will not have service that day and f&b which is limited in the hotel anyways will be closed.

President Bush has requested that we all observe a moment of silence at exactly 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time, when the first plane struck the World Trade Center last September 11th. The Presidential Proclamation also authorizes the flying of all flags at half-staff for the day, now officially known as Patriot Day.

Bush has named September 11th Patriot Day. All flags are to be flown at half mast on this day in rememberence of those that lost their lives on Setember 11th last year. I am giving all of my employees the day off and I think it would be cool if other corporations followed.

I have thought up a new freefly dive plan and I am naming it after the dz where The Circus is located. It is called the Pahokee Pokie and this is how you do it.... Exit at least a three way headdown flower... Then put your right leg in, and your right leg out Put your right leg in and shake it all about You do the Pahokee Pokie and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about. Then put your right arm in, and your right arm out Put your right arm in and shake it all about You do the Pahokee Pokie and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about. Then just continue with your left legs and arms, and maybe even your heads if you want to. What do you think?
