You can also just get a holographic cover for your licence plate... I had one... I mean a friend of mine did. Works great. Whenever the camera takes a pic of your licence plate, it blocks out the letters. They look white on the pic (He) never paid the damn toll. Maybe that works different here in ATL. Nick. I usually fly the canopy on rears, and only land with toggles, but maybe one of these days I should try to land on rears...Thanks for all the good info. Nick. Those who dance, are cosidered insane by those who can't hear the music.

Lol No, I was wondering what everyone here would do, try to land on rears, or chop. and what, if anything, to do with the remaining toggle. That would be a messed up landing tho Nick. Those who dance, are cosidered insane by those who can't hear the music.

I mean Stable, because, with one steering line compleatly removed, the other will have some tension on the back of the canopy, and you will have to compensate by either pulling the opposite rear riser, or releasing the tension (cut the remaining toggle) to even out the trailing edge of the wing. Otherwise you will have a slight turn to the side with the toggle intact. No? Nick. Those who dance, are cosidered insane by those who can't hear the music.

If your toggle tore off during opening, and you held the canopy stable with the opposite (since even released there may be "some" tension on the steering lines), what should you do? Can you: 1. I jump at ASC, and use the rigging loft also. Chuting Star does an awsome job. I've never gotten the "we're just a buisness" vibe from them. Very nice people, and very good at what they do. Go after the real problem, that being Skyride. I don't like them either, but I don't go after everyone and everything that is "associated" with them. Besides, correct me if I'm wrong, but how does skyride benefit from the rigging loft? As far as I know, there is no connection between the two. Nick. Is it possible to do this with mirage risers also as they have a similar secondary "pin"? Not really a pin but the same stiff material as on the primary retainer. Nick. Those who dance, are cosidered insane by those who can't hear the music.

I was watching this video at the DZ the other day. It had a belly-cam point of view. The jumper cuts away a spinning main, and deploys his reserve. As the reserve snivles, he goes though the treetops and lands. He looked like he was ok. Anyone have this vid uploaded or know where I can find it? May have been a wingsuit jump.
