  1. Sounds great except for one thing, In this scenario, people smoke wherever they feel like it with no regard to the health of others, and the people who choose to not smoke must remain in their homes to protect themselves from having to breath poison. This seems like a fair and equitable solution to you, eh? It seems to me that since the smokers are making a concious choice to partake of a known health hazard, they should also accept the responsibility that goes along with that choice. Namely being considerate of people that dont feel like getting cancer or heart disease. The ONLY workable solution is that smokers do so in private. This is the only way that smokers can fairly exercise their right to poison themselves for no tangible purpose and non smokers dont have to share the disease against their will. Even as a smoker I was in firm support of this position. __ My mighty steed
  2. That sounds great on the surface but its completely impractical. When peoples needs are in direct opposition, someone will get the short end of the stick. __ My mighty steed
  3. Not really. White is light and black is the absence of light. It's too complicated for me to try to explain, but black really isn't a "color". True. Black is the abscence of all color and light. Black is no color at all __ My mighty steed

  5. Its bound to be a painful transition, but ultimately maybe nobody will smoke anymore. I dont think its our freedoms being taken away. The majority dont smoke and forced change through the political process. That's exercising our freedom, not taking it away. Thats democracy. It sucks that its going to hit some folks in the wallet. I dont think smoking should be illegal, but I think people that choose to smoke should do it in private where the smoke doesnt hurt anyone else that did NOT chose to breathe it. Not in public places. I smoked for 25 years and I felt this way the entire time. As a ex-smoker my feelings have not changed one bit. __ My mighty steed
  6. And how long you been sitting in the chair. Longest I ever sat there was 4 hours at a stretch, and the last hour hurts a lot more than the first :-) __ My mighty steed
  7. I dont think so I have many, the most recent being the largest and most colorful of the lot covering my entire right upper arm from elbow to over my shoulder and all the way around the arm. I have heard several people over the years comment that they think/know/have heard that tattoo's with a lot of color are much more painful to get than ones without the color. This sounds pretty silly to me, and my own experience tells me so. What do you think? About the only this myth could make sense is if it refers to tattoo's that are colored in as opposed to being line drawings. In that case of course it hurts more, your getting a lot more holed poked in your skin __ My mighty steed

Lots of ink though :-) I asked him why he doesnt do genital piercings and he said "I dont wanna have to touch some guys junk and I dont want some guy all pissed at me because I'm touching his girls junk!!" Seems reasonable to me __ My mighty steed

  18. I can see no other reason to post something as disturbing as this other than to piss people off. I cant believe that anyone would be eager to have a fellow jumper burn in in their presense. If you really do feel this way, you should seek counciling and find out what it is inside you that is so badly broken. Things that are broken, and left to their own devices usually end up even more broken in time. I fervently hope that I am never on the same dropzone as you. __ My mighty steed
  19. I would think the larger area on the PD218R (this is my reserve btw) would create more drag, catch more air, and bang open faster. Of course I do not claim to be any kind of authority on the subject. __ My mighty steed
