    Well, visiting D.C., we decided we had to go see the Excorcist steps. If you are familiar with the area we got off the Metro at GW University and walked to the Exorcist steps. Bad choice! Must of been 6-7 miles. Anyway saw the steps and then walked from Georgetown to the Rosslyn Metro station. About 3/4 mile. Went to Union Station, the to the Capitol Brewery to, well, you know, um drink... Then we got the idea to go the The Exorcist - The Beginning at the theater in Union Station. It rocked! Oh yea, I forgot to mention before we did all this we went to Mount Vernon to tour our First President's 8000 acre estate. We be tired!

    Oh shit, I toured the Brickseller last night and I hurt. What should I do right now? Hair of the dog? I'm pretty sure I took pics of most of the beer that was consumed. I'm not sure about towards the end of the night. I've never had a $200 tab from beer and cheese fries but I can say I have had one now! I'll post the beer pics when I get back Wednesday. Going to try and see both Air & Space Museums today as well as the "Adrenaline Rush" IMAX at the Dulles museum. It's supposed to be about skydiving and base jumping. Sweeeet! Cheers.

    I didn't think it did. I know practice certainly works. I would spend some time after teaching the pool session and practice breatholding with just my mask and weights on to see how far I could go. I only did it for a short period of time but did increase by a minute and a half in the period.

    You didn't have to hold your breath for certification, in a way. You had to swim a distance holding your breath. That was waaay back in 1983. I dont believe that is still practiced any more. You are never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever taught or is it even referred to in class that you hold your breath in scuba. To answer the question at hand, that 4 mins. is pretty impressive. I've gotten up to 2:45 with lots of practice. Probably could go longer if I didn't smoke.

    Already tied the knot on February 7th of this year in New Orleans (in the Quarter). That's where I'm from. I heard it was a pretty damn good wedding!

    Oh yea, I talked a store into selling me the perfect cake topper for my groom's cake which looks like this. It is not a howler but a put a little plastic groom and the bride monkey next to it because all of my friends and family know her as the Howler! Here is a better pic of my lovely monkey.

    Monkey, for howler monkey, the loudest animal in the jungle. You can hear her call from up to 3 miles away! In fact, she even has her own portion of my webpage devoted to her. Haven't completed it yet though.
